Hey all,

In the interests of maintaining a fair and reasonable discussion I would like to suggest that from now on all discussions are made based only on reasonable discussion and constructive comments that take place from now on.

Please do not cling to any old grudges or complaints between other members of the community (by all means feel free to constructively critique me and Jagex though).

With the team restructure RoP is actually in a really good place and The Judges and I have discussed it a few times. I'm not sure when we would be pushing to do it, but I'm confident it's now a case of when and not if.

That said, I think there's space for a redesign over the core concept and I think this thread has started raising some good points, so I would like to continue having these open discussions regarding it.

So, let's rule this now, all previous arguments and frustrations are water under the bridge. Let's all metaphorically shake hands and let's focus on coming up with ideas that will make for a cool quest for everyone.

Aviansie fans - What lore do you want to see?
Non-aviansie fans - What questions do you want answered?
Gameplay fans - What sort of mechanics do you want to see in a quest?

Gameplay wise.. generally puzzles are a win. So if there's a couple of interesting puzzles to tackle, I'd be happy.
Other then that working elements into a general theming of flight or even wind could make for some unique content. Would a free falling section be workable? Controlling and guiding your character along a course using 'wasd' as they freely descend through the clouds.
Or navigating a treacherous cliff side as wind tries to push you off into oblivion. Check out Thieves guild layout redesign. Happy ‘scaping

Lore:
Avianese NPCs discussing how they fared between the end of the god wars and now
The current plight/day to day challenges of the avianese
Do avianese need lots of statues in the way the gilienor needs more toilets
Dietary preferences of abbinah and any special recipes
Avianese thoughts on birds found on Runescape: chickens, turkeys, the evil chicken
Culturally how avianese would react to other avianese who sided with other factions, especially if some sided with bandos during that huge battle/war

Gameplay
Minimize the memes. You're a better writer than that Mod Raven. The IRL pop culture references would not hold up well or age well to the darker tone of lore/story behind the plight of the avianese (might be a question of who is a sadder lot: the myreque or the avianese)
