You come here to say that "nobody wants this".

This is wrong.

There are many people that want this, and that's why we've seen it requested for so many times on these forums.

Do we expect Jagex to change it? Not really, but we can only hope that one day there is a Jmod that wants this the same way as many of us wants this. Then we may see the change. However, that only comes if we ask for it. People like you, coming here and creating arguments for no reason at all, helps nobody.

You're adding nothing to this conversation. You will be best of posting elsewhere.

I never said "nobody wants this". I clearly told you Jagex told us they did the research and learned from the successful games modern games want Flash Events and therefore we have Flash Events. I also clearly wrote some clans and FC still do old minigames, but only when they want to do them, not all the time.

Actual in game results also showed players love Flash Events and hardly anybody like old minigames. Most modern gamers rather do things for no rewards and just fun like Fashionscape than silly grindfest minigames like BA. Even cosmetics rewards between old minigames like Soul Wars and Mega Duck make a big difference too. Who cares about old school Soul Wars pets millions have been botted when real players get the fun to get a Mega Duck by themselves?

Yet you have also argued that Flash Events are not the spiritual successor to minigames.

Like I keep saying, Flash Events and Minigames are made for two different audiences. Just because some players like Flash Events more doesn't mean every player likes them more. Just because Jagex says most people like them doesn't make it so.

Where is your data on this?

If it's based on popularity, it's not a fair comparison. Many players only do Flash Events for the rewards, not the events themselves.

Exactly!

Old minigames have outdated rewards, yet we still want to play them. For fun.

So what's wrong with asking for better accessibility?

"Yet you have also argued that Flash Events are not the spiritual successor to minigames."

They aren't. As I mentioned RS3 researched other successful games and found Flash Events great to RS3 so they added them. Flash Events supplement D&D greately, not replace them.

"Where is your data on this?"

Jagex has the data obviously. Didn't I tell you numerous times they looked the successful games in the industry and learned to do their minigames - that are Flash Events in RS3? They have data not just for RS3, but from many other games with successful minigames too.

"Old minigames have outdated rewards, yet we still want to play them. For fun."

If you want to play old minigames you still can. You can find your own team or your own clan. Other people are doing that as I mentioned. What's the problem?

"So what's wrong with asking for better accessibility?"

Who said it is wrong to ask? I didn't. You can ask, and somebody asked the question "what's going to happen next"? And I mentioned Jagex already told us many times they aren't changing old minigames and they will add Flash Events based on their research on other games.

You're contradicting yourself here. If flash events are not related to minigames, then why can't minigames co-exist with flash events? On the one hand you're saying they're not related, then you're saying "their minigames - that are Flash Events in RS3". This is why it's hard to take anything you say seriously.

As I've said before, not everyone is able to join a clan, or able to play when clans play. Others also want the flexibility to play content in their own time, not when dictated to by clans or Jagex. This is where your argument completely falls to pieces.

Almost every time this topic comes up, you derail the thread into discussions on Flash Events and D&Ds which by your own admission are not minigames.

Derailing threads is a classic way of telling everyone else that the "subject matter at hand isn't important to me, so let's talk about something I want to talk about".

One last point on this.

You clearly trust Jagex.

I don't.

I know that data can be interpreted in many different ways. Just because Jagex say the data means something doesn't mean it's true.

As per our discussion on (starting on page 6), Jagex provided data to us that was clear to me as unfavourable, yet they spun it as a positive.

Jagex have clearly interpreted in a way that suits their agenda. If they have done it once here, they for sure have done it at other times, and quite possibly again regarding Flash Events.

None of us have seen this data to make our own conclusions. To blindly follow what a company says can lead us to having a game that Jagex wants us to have, not something that we want to have.
