Why not?

Why?

I agree. Plenty of groups have traditionally and daily done portable skilling with just a bank chest. If they need something, they go to the GE and get it. Easy.

I do 99% of my business at the Prif GE. The others might as well not exist for me, so what is the harm of adding another? I might use that instead?

If someone asked me if there was a GE in Menaphos I would say no, of course not. Even though it IS there and it annoys me when I try to use the bank.

It just doesn't register. It doesn't matter. The GE is at prif, and if I want to see other players I go to Varrock.

I havent gone to Priff yet. I need 1 quest that I might not ever have the chance to do. Menaphos GE is nice when you want to do business and avoid a crowd. Its also in route on one of my runs which makes it a convenient drop off spot if needed to clear some inventory space. Mostly I use the big Varrock GE because of Luck of the Dwarves ring.

What is the intent for Fort Forinthry?

Did Jagex envision everything in the game eventually plopping into it?

Do they want it to eventually engulf the entirety of RS and the game simply evolve into a platform game called Fort Forinthry, while retiring the rest of RS3?

Dilbert keeps asking for suggestions of what to put in it. Im just wondering how much Jagex wants to put in it (how far they intended it to go).

Do the Devs want you immersed in it with no need to leave ever, or would they prefer you get out once in a while and socialize?

Their intent for the project would determine whether it needs a GE or not. As the game stands, it really doesnt.

We may or may not have a GE there in the future, but when we are talking about building a new FOUNDATIONS for wars, GE may not be most logical building in mind NOW.

I personally find that the fort has 4 banks and no GE mildly ridiculous. Are we sure there are enough banks to satisfy player needs? I can only assume the one at the well is because they couldn't figure out how to fit one into the command center.

The impression I'm getting from the fort is that it's our new PoH. Construction focused, personal living space, customization options and various skilling utilities. It might also be something of replacement for the guilds too.
