There's a GE in the cooking guild, which is right next to the main GE. Adding one at the fort shouldn't be too bad. They could make it lvl/achievement locked so you have to earn it like you do with the cooking guild one. The Max guild one is also fairly close to the Priff one but is deemed worth it because you earn it and the other max guild stuff by maxing, get faster teleport there than for lodestones etc.
thats just a bank, not a ge.
Lost Woods numba 1, (NOT EE, Those scrubs are liars ;p)
Wondering the same thing. Another GE there would fit the fort well. Maybe we are supposed to get war's retreat crystals, altar of war added to the fort before we can build a ge.

I going to be honest here No it's made to be a skilling area it should not have a grand exchange we already have 4
1
varrock
2
Prifddinas
3
Max Guild
4
Menaphos
I don't think we need a 5th one
I am impartial regarding having a GE in the Fort. However, TBH, Jagex has already clearly told us Fort Forinthry is for combat, skilling, quests, events and other challenges, it is by no mean just a "skilling area".
The other point is Menaphos is far more skilling focused than the Fort and there is a GE there, so why not Fort Forinthry?

Only whoever controlling a piece of land can set the rule of that piece of land. When Fort was part of Wildy it followed Wildy Rules and had Wildy levels and pvp skull enabled. It is now part of Misthalin and of course we don't have any Wildy Rules and effects there.
It is all safe to set up a GE in the land of Misthalin now, of course.
it is in the wilderness. build command center and ask overseer siv about archaeology.

yawn
He is talking in the context that there is something belonging to Wilderness that we may be able to dig up under the Fort. However, the Fort itself is definitely not in the Wilderness.

uh siv is a woman... no she is definitely saying "we are in the wilderness" as we both stand inside the fort, which is in the wilderness
Context is very important in any language, English included. You can't just take a partial quote and ignore the meaning of the entire speech. That NPC clearly talked about the Archaoelogy Artifact lying UNDEANEATH Fort Forinthry.
I believe most of us have been having our fun time in Fort Forinthry for a long time now. We all should know whether it is PRACTICALLY in the Wilderness or not. When there is no Wilderness risk and other negative effects PRACTICALLY and REALISTICALLy in Fort Forinthry, there is no such concerns of not having a GE there.

we are talking about an npc literally saying "we are in the wilderness" while standing in the fort
Please go tell RS Wiki, or update it yourself when you think then. Meanwhile, we know and I believe everybody who has been playing in Fort Forinthry the last month should have experience what the RS Wiki stated:
"Despite being
surrounded by the Wilderness
in the east, north, and west,
the dangers of the Wilderness don't apply inside the fort.
However, the fort's northern gate opens into the Wilderness."
https://runescape.wiki/w/Fort_Forinthry
Fort Forintthry is
surrounded by the Wilderness
, not in the WIlderness. It is not affected by any Wilderness effects, so all of us who are not disinterested in RS3 or have quit are safe to have fun there. When we make even more banks there, eventually the GE may come.
