I wanna own 2 islands please

Mine has 3 wobbegong spots, I used to have one with 3 golden bamboo trees, I wanna own both possibilities, because islands like these are very rare, and very good for yak track

I dont get the point of that new fort, whats all about? I built everything and I cant see why go there again? to make planks from proteans?

We don't need to own 2 islands at the same time when we can own unlimited islands, one at a time depending on our own choice at that time. Depending on what we want to own, we can just plant a new (free) flag on the next island we want. Today I may need more Golden Bamboo trees, I claim an island with 3 of them but then later I want fishing and not WC, then I claim a new island with more fishing spots. It is really cool.

The point of the new Fort is we have unlimited potentials to build more player owned content in the open world. As the story unfolds in the future, our RS3 Gielinor changes and our living and breathing xp changes accordingly in A Fort of Our Own too. As I mentioned, the changes can keep going, and going, and going, and going for the next 22 years and beyond even after this chapter. A Fort of Our Own may end up being A Town of Our Own or A City or Our Own a couple of years later when the current series ends.

This fort Its not new content is just old content at same spot
Idk why is better to go to this Fort? I fail to see the advantage, I already visit all that activities walking less than there.

You don't see the one stop do it all command center? You don't see the always open community shared altar? You don't see the furnances, invention and archaeology workbenches closest to a bank? You don't see the free bonus xp by just staying in the Fort? You don't see shared skilling stations, pulse cores and such there?

Perhaps a lot of us do. :)

I don't see Meg, so I have to go to Ports anyway. Same with the port events for the bonuses. Anachronia base camp is dead content to me now, and I can get to the Research centre and Miscellenia with a direct teleport.

I can get to Archaeology workbenches, Smithing anvils and Invention tables much faster when I need to with direct teleports. It's very rare that I'll need all of the above at the same time.

The bonus XP is minimal and whilst nice, doesn't give me a reason to stay there over other places.

The skilling stations and pulse cores etc. are not permanent features of the fort. They've merely migrated from the combat academy.

This is the start of the fort, so I do expect more in the future to make it worthwhile. However, I agree with Magalee that the current advantages are not worth it over other destinations, such as Menaphos.

Do you get to do all these things, and get all the buffs from both the playes and the fort at the SAME TIME? Obviously not, that's why the Fort is the best place for skilling. Otherwise, we won't see so many players skilling there.

You also missed one of the most significant differences - the
banks
in the fort are invaluable. No need to grind home teleport to offer bones anymore, for an example.

I was only going off the list you gave.

Clearly this is a place to train Prayer.

Some players clearly see a benefit to training here over other places.

I simply see more benefits at other places that are more beneficial to me - for example Menaphos with the favour system (to complete achievements) and the area specific distraction events.

You missed this on my list "you were getting down":

"You don't see the furnances, invention and archaeology workbenches closest to a bank? "

Not just prayer but we also have a closest bank to an anvil, furnance, workbenceh etc in the Fort.

I don't know why you derail it to Menaphos when the person I replied to clearly compared similar skilling in different locations. We don't have altars, furnaces, anvils, etc in Menaphos. Absoulteyly not. And Menapohs reputation is 100% irrelevant.

I'm using the fort more often. First I just wanted to sit on the benches and use my proteans. But then I realized the bonus XP goes up while we are training, and not just offline.

The furnace is just too convenient, so I will use that one.

Also, I've taken to paying for the happiness of Misc workers rather than actually going there. So that is cool.

The ports and Anachronia worker boosts are passive, but I am putting them to good use as well.

The only reason I brought up Menaphos is because it's an example of somewhere that gives different benefits that suit my playstyle more than the fort. I.e. it's a reason why not to go to the fort as somewhere else is more beneficial.

Menaphos has furnaces and anvils close to bank. You don't really need to be close to a bank for anvils anymore anyway. All Archaeology workbenches are close to banks. The Invention Guild has an invention workbench right next to a bank.

I don't understand what you are trying to say in this post. Everything you have said is outright incorrect.
