RSC/RS2/RS3/OSRS means all Ruenscape variants, not just OSRS. It is absolutely clear for everybody.
Two of these four no longer exist.
In terms of current games, RSC and RS2 are irrelevant beyond the scope of nostalgia.
Also, let me correct you:
You do not speak for everybody. You can speak for yourself, but that is all.
Two of these four still exist in RS3. RS3 is the past, present and future of Runescape.
I never wrote I spoke for anybody. Neither do you speak for anybody else but yourself. What discussion value does this have anyway?
Games that no longer exist have no bearing on current events in RS3 or in OSRS.
If you are going to insist on including these games that do not exist in modern times simply to try to make your points sound more impressive, you might as well invoke the memory of DeviousMUD while you are at it.
The difference is I never claim to speak for anyone other than myself. In stark contrast, you often claim to know how everyone feels about pretty much anything that goes on around here. Just because you do not preface your proclamations with the words, "I speak for everyone when I say..." does not mean you do not imply it, because you do. You tend to assume such knowledge on a fairly regular basis.
The value is this is a character flaw you might not realize you possess. Removing this defect from your writing will enable you to make more relevant, less assailable posts.
Try it. You might like it. Just remember, your RS experiences may well be different from other players. Not everyone shares the same style of gameplay or the same opinions - and that variety is actually a good thing.
Whether you believe it or not, I am actually trying to help you here.
Why? I am not really sure. I'm just in a weirdly generous mood, I guess.

"> Finally, Jagex is counting on the pressure of the above factors to get people to crack and open their wallets, so they can make a profit off of those with poor luck"
You just keep continuing to talk about OSRS. Only these OSRS events like DMM, Leagues, Boss Bash Raffle etc require OSRS players to open their wallets. In RS3, the rare Ensouled Pumpkin Mask can't be won with money because it is not a prize from TH. We have to smash pumpkins to find them and we can't buy them.
Wrong again because it is a prize on TH... Look up grim harvest.
It certainly isn't on the TH prize list. I don't know what you have seen. If you see it on the TH prize list with chance, can you please show us the screenshot?

If you go to the Probabilities tab, you won't see Ensouled Pumpkin Mask there. If you found it on the information we could only see on the very first time, might be Jagex did make a mistake on their item chance info.

I have been talking about timeline and variants of Runescape, not just games.
Did we ever have RS2 game? Never. That shows you clearly when I mentioned RSC/RS2/RS3/OSRS, I didn't specifically referred to games.
Yeah, you have. Therein lies the problem.
You are not yet ready. I get it.
Believe it or not, I used to be pretty anti-social. No, really. It is true!
Now I am...well...ok, at least I can play nicely with others. Sometimes.

I don't know or care about you being antisocial or not. I am 100% not antisocial and have been enjoying every pumpkin parties I participated with like a hundreds+ players each time for the weeks.
I really love this kind of open world party content and will like to see a lot more even after the Halloween event. It is a lot of fun, and very rewarding too, as I have bought out all the H'oddments Store untradeable items, and a new Beret and a new Orange Mask on top of it... all without hours of grinding crap for nothing in other games.
1. I enjoyed the pumpkin parties up until the 250 pumpkins needed for the fresh pumpkin mask was obtained, and I'll admit, if there's a tangible goal to reach for, the event is more engaging.
2. It almost immediately wasn't so much fun to drop everything I was doing in game every hour just to the pumpkin party activity. I don't enjoy hourly-scape, and I don't enjoy -not- getting rare items for doing so. This would go on for several days until I eventually got the Dive scroll.
3. I was able to get a Beret, and while the cash infusion did help my account's progression - I was so over the event that I wasn't able to say it was a fun experience.
Personally, I would rather get an assured, non-tradeable cosmetic for 30 minutes of work than spend an entire month hunting for a cosmetic I could just buy on the G.E. if I really wanted and had the cash for.
RNG doesn't make things fun. Good event storytelling and set design does.

You can totally ignore the pumpkin parties and just do whatever you want and still get pumpkin spawned like Seren Spirits.
You only need 30 pumpkins to get at least 750 H'Oddments, enough to guaranteed at least a non-tradeable cosmetics from the H'oddments Store.
