Even the Soul Dive and Soul Surge abilities - which you can save up H'oddments for if you wanted to - are costing players 15 and 20 million coins a piece.

Do you know even free players in RS3 can tan hides and make like 7 mil gp/hr? 410 mil gp is just 60 hours of tanning hides for free players in RS3. It is hardly anything expensive.

said it wasn't okay for RNG-based items of particular rarity to be in RS3 (remember, you have similar rough odds of spiking a Third Age Pl8 in RS3).....

However, it's not okay to take a widely celebrated holiday, and make the driving focus of the playerbase be to go after something RNG-based, within a time limit, or force them to fork over immense amounts of GP (or actual money for Bonds) due to lacking the luck and the event ends. You can ALWAYS do Clue Scrolls provided you meet the requirements for obtaining them. Don't have those requirements? That's not a big deal, just play the game. Want an Ensouled Pumpkin Mask but Halloween comes and goes and you don't have it after playing every day during the events duration? I don't know what to tell you, that's just unlucky.

You wanna tell Jagex the rarity is too high for Third Age? Make your own damn thread and stop comparing apples to oranges.

When you're telling a free player to spend half a week tanning hides just to buy a purely cosmetic halloween item - you've lost the argument. I'll invite any other readers of this thread to back you up and say that your logic makes sense here.

You just keep continuing to talk about OSRS. Only these OSRS events like DMM, Leagues, Boss Bash Raffle etc require OSRS players to open their wallets. In RS3, the rare Ensouled Pumpkin Mask can't be won with money because it is not a prize from TH. We have to smash pumpkins to find them and we can't buy them.

Wrong again because it is a prize on TH... Look up grim harvest.

I was gonna let that one go, because I know Dilbert probably looked at the 'probabilities' tab under the event and it wasn't listed there, Mini. As much as we fight and I get a kick out of proving him wrong - that's something that players would only know the first time they interact with Grim Harvest after the event starts - or clicked on Promo Prizes -instead- of Probabilities.

You are correct though - There is a .12% chance to spike the Ensouled Pumpkin Mask as a Grim Harvest bonus reward (meaning, you have to spend 10 keys just to roll the .12% chance. Yikes.)

And that point is relevant. Jagex not only wants players hunting the mask to buy keys, they want them to spend them in TENS in order to do so.

Yeah, just saying I am an iron and still know it's also a TH item so was surprised he didn't. It's listed as 1/831 keys and very rare for irons from the pumpkin event.

1/831 Grim harvest rolls. 12 keys for a grim harvest roll.

9972 keys for an ensouled mask.

If you "don't get TH", then how can you tell us we who don't see Ensouled Mask on TH "wrong"? Google and whatever wiki can be wrong instead.
