Not true everyone I have talked to stated put the spade in action tab and spam click it while moving around 5 mins tops not that time matters.

And we didn't use wiki guides and youtube back in the day and had ACTUAL quests to do and follow not lame afk events that are on repeat now every year.

Not that any of that matters, this was exclusive to having been around in 2009 and never dropped since, was a low blow by jagex.

Well i did the same thing and it took me nearly 2hrs to get it.

Thus its all down to rng unlike previously where you got it w/o any rng.

My complaint is that released it in a grindathon instead of adding the old halloween event into the game as a miniquest so all new players could play it. Cause lets be real. The spiders in Deaths House was fun. All the old holiday events were fun back then. So add them in as miniquests and let people earn the rewards through them that way. Thats the practice with games released on the market today. Eventually add in old events into the game so new players can play through them at their leisure and earn the limited rewards that came from them. Wouldn't hurt Jagex to get wit the times. "A quick way to unlock eek is to add Muncher's spade to the players action bar and repeatedly press the action key while running around the graveyard. Within a few minutes eek will appear in the player's inventory."

Disagree 100% giving players who were NOT around in 2009 or earlier items that were ONLY available that ONE time 2009 or earlier is NO DIFFERENT than turning around tomorrow and allowing ALL players to get 20yr capes no matter the date of their account creation, Jagex is 20+yrs old so ALL should just go and be able to get 20 yr capes and ALL should be able to pick up UNLIMITED FREE Christmas Crackers on 12/25/22 LETS BE FAIR!

Yes. And that information was added by a player, not Jagex. RuneScape did have a wiki created and managed by Jagex, but it was discontinued in 2017.

Draco's correct. Their about page shows that the wiki was created by a member of the community. Like other fansites, it now has Jagex support, including the nifty in-game features. This official news post even states that it the wiki is a community-driven project.
