Did I tell you we only need 70% "yes" vote to pass a poll even in OSRS, we didn't even need 82%.

Please also be informed not 18% of players in the survey were negative, netural or no votes were included in the survey too.

70% survey pass requirements have nothing to do with this topic.

We are talking about inherent system level changes. Jagex has provided official statistics on these changes that you have repeated in this thread. These are not changes that are to be voted on as they affect every single player's ability to play the game.

My understanding of those statistics shows for dire reading. Your rebuttal of 70% being a good pass marker shows how little you understand the data you provided.

No company should be proud of a 82% pass rate for a change such as this. Let alone 70%. It was touted as a major buff to security and an easy change for us to adapt to. The statistics show that this has not been the case.

I wouldn't be surprised to see heads rolling for this major cock up.

Did I mention EVEN IF polling was relevan, Jagex Acoounts would pass? Of course, I also added we didn't need polling because it is for Jagex's Integrity to go with Jagex Accounts.
So why bring it up?

To illustrate a mere 18% of players who are said to be either neutral or negative are just a very small issu, if not a non-issue to the release of Jagex Accounts.

18% is a HUGE amount!

How is this not clear to you?

If a player has not had a smooth experience with the transfer, they will be in that 18%.

If a player has had a particularly bad experience with the transfer, they will be in that 18%.

Given the importance of this change, players should not be having any bad experience with this no matter how bad it is.

Let's not forget that of those that had a particularly bad experience, Jagex failed to correct those issues sufficiently enough 62.5% of the time.

If you want to compare percentages, compare that one. 37.5% vs 70%. Ouch.

"84% of players with a Jagex Account had a positive experience
Only 7% had a negative experience (with the rest describing their experience as neutral)"

Only 7% of the people had a negative experience, not 18%. It is an exceedingly low percentage.

As I said, if you've had a less than satisfactory process, you are going to be in that 18%. It does not matter where on the scale of how bad your experience is, you're in that 18%.

Indeed, 7% had a bad experience. This is still a huge number of players! This amounts to 1 in 14 players having a bad experience. Those are terrible odds!

As I mentioned before, for an update like this, Jagex needs those numbers to be 0.18%, not 18% (or 7%, or 1%). Essentially, they need those numbers to be miniscule.

The fact that 62.5% of players who did have a bad experience were not sufficiently helped by Jagex still remains a hugely damaging figure for this change over.

ROFL! Then almost no surveys or polls content will ever being released. I have never seen any RS3 or OSRS surveys or polls with a 99.82% approval rating. :D

Because they're polling content , not system reworks .

If there was a 1 in 14 chance for you to have a serious issue logging into your account, would you be happy with those odds?

If there was a 1 in 14 chance that Jagex made a Penguin quest instead of a Vampire quest that you'd have preferred, would you still be able to log into your account and play the rest of the content RS has to offer?

There are huge differences between polled content and system updates like this.

There are huge differences between polling to find out majority choices and success rate of an update.

You're comparing apples and oranges.

Anyway, I came here to comment on those terrible statistics, and to give a second hand account of my friend who is having ongoing issues with this changeover. Hopefully anyone else still unsure about this update and is reading this can see there are still flaws, and if there's any reason why you think something could go wrong, I'd hold off for now. It's clear I'm not going to change Dilbert's mind on this matter.
