Its very sad that they didnt opt to use a forum like Discourse, which is modern used across the internet (who knew, forums are actually NOT dead...contrary to popular belief) and has many features (including mobile friendliness) that people want these days....And its platform is designed to work with the kind of systems Jagex is upgrading to.
But reality is, this forum is built on webscript, and webscript is no longer developed by Jagex. So i completely understand why it's being removed as they slowly release updates to the website and modernize it.
Shame though trying to force Discord for everything, it will NOT be a solution to every problem. I hope clans can band together and find a solution that works the best. Eventually discord will fade away and something new will come along and then Jagex is going to have to migrate everything to it...
Offsite has been tried in the past, it has failed...many times. Only time will tell.
Gonna be sad not able to post on here in time, or even access them later. It was fun while it lasted though. Many great memories through the years.
