It's good to see the Friday festivities returned for this week.
In-game, not much has been happening this week with me. I'm pretty close to gaining the next level in Cooking and in Dungeoneering.
I find the recent changes to the oddments store to be a mixed bag. I understand why some were upset by the removal of the daily sales, even though it will cut down on XP buying in some cases, which is healthy. However, raising the daily cap on buying lamps, stars, and TH keys from 30 to 60 was an absolutely idiotic move. Thanks to this bewildering move, the pay-to-winners with hundreds of thousands of oddments can afford to purchase even more straight XP - and keys for ever more XP chances. The oddment-rich get richer - or do they?
I've not decided yet how I feel about the removal of oddments from the TH prize pool. Again, it's probably for the best for the game, but I must admit I enjoyed winning a decent amount of oddments on occasion. I like to spend these on teleports and other animations.
Good luck with your goals, and don't take any wooden oddments.
Enjoy your weekend.

There are a couple of threads discussing the possibilities in the
Future Game Updates Forum
that you might want to participate on.
As with pretty much every update, I'm sure some players will love it while others will hate it. The only question will be to what extent.
As usual, I will wait until it goes live before I offer an opinion. Right now, I am neither excited for this update, nor am I dreading it. We'll see how it goes.

This afternoon, I earned about 200k Fishing XP, so I was able to reach Fishing level 98!
It is safe to say Fishing will be my third 99. I expect I should get this before the end of this year.

Someone will always try to scam you here at RuneScape. The best thing to do is to be attentive to your surroundings, especially when entering the Wilderness. I know the situation that you have experienced is not a welcomed one, but you should do your best to avoid something like this from occurring again. I'd definitely check out the
Scams & How to Avoid Them
thread here to learn more about the most common scams out there.
Remember the saying,
"If something is too good to be true, then it probably is (too good to be true)."
As always, if you believe something should be reported, then by all means you should report those players and the specific situations to Jagex using the instructions found here:
How to report a player
. If you are unable to catch them in their acts, then you may also share your concerns using the
