Community! RuneScape taught me so much about connecting with others, forming friendships and having fun! Event planning and clan organization feeds into a lot of real life stuff too when it comes to team/social activities.
Creativity and a sense of adventure was another huge thing for me. I personally wasn't too generally imaginative as a kid but started really tapping into my creativity when I first joined the game.
I'd say it also did a number on my life skills of just generally handing goals, "grindy" work and challenging myself. There's so much applicable life skills that this game taught in a number of life facets its always interesting to reflect on!

Not everybody can be trusted "sometimes even closest friends"
Not everybody deserves not to be trusted "some people are very trustworthy"
Some friends here become better friends than the people you know in real life
There is actually a life beyond Runescape...
Being rich is shit, poor is better
Sharing bare ass gifs is bad and gets you into trouble..
Sometimes even a forum idiot can be a nice guy/girl
How to love somebody without meeting them
Dealing with grief
And how important Fridays can be <3
Much love

Pretty much. We should have learned many users are actually the same person, and sometimes a troll can be using another normally nice person's account. Usually they post with the same pattern on different accounts so it is still easy to know who actually are.
I've learned that Jagex/JMods are great people, great minds all together, with a huge heart we all benefit from. Their ideas and work is well balanced. Magnificent ... it gives me a comfortable feeling, very satisfactory ... it serves both worlds, real life & digital.
Runescape absolutely taught me how to negotiate prices. Hanging out in W2 and learning to listen, pause, offer low, set a limit, and be willing to walk away has helped me when buying stuff at garage sales, online, and even the cars I've bought.
