That's a heck of a deal, and it is obvious we learned RS3 is willing to listen to the community.

Only when it's up for sale

According to 2 sources, Jagex is up for sale. Did you read this thread?

Or if you hop over to reddit/2007scape you can see a lot of Chicken Littles are worrying about the sky falling down.

Isn't that what I just said? When it's up for sale? Key word there, "sale". Did you miss that in my reply while quoting it, or just have a comprehension problem while reading it?

When? Yesterday, according to Reuters. They actually hired Morgan Stanley, and Areem as advisors.

It has been mentioned before, but one of the things I learned from RS is English. I had very basic knowledge from school, I learned a lot from another game I played in English (FFVI), but the bulk of my English comes from RuneScape and having to socialize, interact, trade (back when there was no GE), etc... Speaking English has literally changed my life, because if I didn't learn I wouldn't have met the people I have, including my husband in real life. I probably would be in a very different situation nowadays if I just spoke my first language. Not necessarily better or worse, but different for sure.

I probably learned about other things, such as managing conflict when players have disagreements with me, or are just hostile for no good reason, or when there has been drama among friends.

I learned the financial markets (GE tax and Jenga economy using grass root players' tax to bail out selected items), M&A and Jagex RWT (yes it is allowed if Jagex is selling the products they owned) like buy membership get a chance to win a cash prize in a competition, membership time, real world products etc... raffles, plushies giveaways etc.

I learned that reading forum posts can be educational. The world map of where 1st floor is 2nd floor is fascinating! I’ve also learned that perseverance and preparation beats sheer luck and it makes me appreciate the few instances of sheer luck even more. I’ve learned about history that wasn’t taught in school through RS world, lore, and quests. I’ve learned to follow my heart in terms of where I want to spend my time and resources and not just follow the crowd (I dislike being required to partner or group activities, so I’m ok with not working on those). I’ve found that there are scammers and thieves here and in real life (so called friends who stole my account) and I now have healthy skepticism. Trading and the GE allowed me to practice negotiation, math, conflict, and decision making skills. It still breaks my heart to learn that the world is ever changing and often I have little control. I left the game after the wildly removal fiasco and again during other egregious changes (or so I thought at the time) and I still miss RS3 but am ok with my choice not to spend the time to figure out how to return. Wow! This game has changed my life for the better!

A very interesting thing I learned just this week: Far more players actually like TH.

They biggest fuzz about the removal of the Daily Challenge system was the loss of the 3 daily TH keys. Now that knowing their beloved Daily Challenges and 3 daily TH keys will be back soon, the overall sentiment of the keyless Hero Pass has changed to "perfectly acceptable".

What have we learned even more? TH is here to stay because most players who play RS3 actually like it.
