Why can't Jagex's Runescape have Idle game features?

Even Mod Jack has explained RS3's design to include reasonable amount of idle/AFK content in a specific RS3 Livestream for that topic. Why argue with not just me, and also RS3 Jmods, just for the sake of arguing?

We're not arguing against that. We're arguing that there is nothing that lasts longer than the old log out timer, therefore there's no point in extending the timer.

You've said nothing to the contrary.

Does everybody set an alarm clock to let them know their make-x batch is finished after 5 minutes? I get log out frequently after a processing a batch of protean cogs and such. Bots are programmed to click at least once every 5 minutes, but humans don't.

Mod Jack told us many reasons why they need a balance between active and AFK gameplays too. For example, RS3 can be active game for many humans, but it can also be a good 2nd screen game in numerous situations. I do a lot of things on the internet, and often I AFK skilling RS3 on a second screen.

But after those 5 minutes, you're stood around idle anyway until you click again.

Getting logged out of the game sends you to the lobby, and it's one simple click to return to exactly where you were before.

This minor inconvenience does not counteract the rest of the downsides covered in my earlier post, in my opinion.

Didn't I mention many times many humans wouldn't set their alarm clock to click after 5 minutes? We, humans, wouldn't always " stand around idle" after 5 minutes - we would be logged out.

And what's the difference between being in the lobby and being idle in-game?

Please read what I wrote very early in this thread, and let's don't go in circle:

"Numerous ways. Bots can stay online forever but humans have to click every few minutes to not get log out. In many cases, when we get log out, we have to wait in a queue to get back it, for instance in W84. It is very annoying."
- Page 1, Post 5.

Alas, please read my rebuttal on this earlier in the thread, "let's don't go in circle".

If you're not active in W84, you are essentially wasting bandwidth on that server that other players could make use of. Now if every player was to stand around doing nothing for 10 minutes, it's going to make the matter of getting into W84 incredibly harder!

Who said every human is always "active" on W84? I have seen plenty of streamers, even Jmods got timed out during livestreams.

Mod Jack has already rebutted you when they told us why players want to AFK, and not always active in RS3.

I'm not talking about AFK'ing. I'm talking about the time when an AFK'er has let their avatar stand idle after their skilling activity is over.

If your avatar is standing in game doing nothing , then what is the difference between that and standing in the lobby?
