@Sc Jw

This thread is clearly about what will we do if RS3 and OSRS don't exist, I have no reason to show you anything like "3rd or even 4th bit play toys".

If you have problem with OP making this thread, you absolutely replied to the wrong person.

I would be playing other games on Jagex Launcher, or whatever Laucher it is called with their new owner.

Not only has RuneScape captivated so much of my time over the years, it's taught me so much in so many ways. To be honest, in retrospect, I'd probly' be worse off in many regards if it never existed. I suppose that's the charm of this game - it's entertaining and relaxing in a comfortable environment (should that be where you choose to be) ^_^ . - (Owner) Ornery Onions -

In addition to some forms of the "forever games" variants, either digital or physical products, I will also look into other similar "forever games" with strong IP.

One criteria for selection is it must have great expandable technologies that will support the evolutions of the game into eternity. If it is stuck in legacy technology and we are stuck in legacy game content, it won't be fun forever.

Don't you realize we are actually getting more and more presence of Runescape, and will only get more and probably a colossal lot more in the coming years... in brick and mortar forms though even if the digital versions of Runescape games don't exist.

New Jagex owner on the horizon probably as per a recent business report on Jagex's progress in selling the company. I'll see they are pushing for the Forever Games idea, so I'll give their next Forever Game a try first, whether it is SCUM, Runescape 4 or whatever new "unaccounced" games, or other games from other new company the next Jagex is going to buy.

No worries, as I am getting more and more sure all the IP content we see in the 22 year old RS3 will continue to exist for decades. The question is whether we will see it in RS4, Runescape 3 Reamastered, sort-of-almost-RS4 or whatever name the new Jagex come up with.

Getting more interested in Survival Crafting games by the days, especially seeing Palworld came out of nowhere and sold 6 million copies in the first 4 days in early access, with 1.5 million peak concurrent players. I guess this is what "speak softly and carry a big stick" means. They don't need to pre-pre-announce a "summit" to pump the game.

Jagex is seemingly flexing their muscles on this genre too. They have their own new yet to be announced Survival Game, and the established one in SCUM through Gamepires. SCUM didn't sell 6 million copies in 4 days though, but 1 million copies in 3 weeks wasn't too bad.

If "Pokemon with Guns" can come out of nowhere and sell 6 million copies in 4 days, perhaps Jagex's "GIM with Guns" in Co-op Survival Crafting games are worth checking out too when their GIM in an MMO fail. :)

Checked out Palworld with my friends. Very interesting game but eating my "pals" to survive is a bit objectionable to me.

The Survival Craft genre seems to be fresh and very promising though, but instead of Palworld I probably will be playing SCUM or Jagex's new yet-to-be-announced new survival game.

Instead of eating or enslaving my "pals", I will like to see companions that help me gather food and I can equip them like Meowketeer, or undead I can commute with like the ones in the City of Um. Hope there will be some sort of Survival Games in Jagex's growing list IP for core gamers, or I am sure there will be some from other opportunistic developers soon that I can play.

This is the Runescape, not "Palworld", not "SCUM", Runescape. Try to stay focused
