A game developer can disappear. A game can cease to exist. Long established IP and stories will never die. We can see all those partnership initiatives with Steamforged Games and SMITE already.

We will certainly see all those Runescape gods, Mahjarrat, Dragonkin, Shadows, Demons and more somewhere us somewhere else. The question is just where? In other games or metaverses? Movies? TV Series, Books? Or even the stock market where we may be trading partyhat NFTs?

BTW, we probably are going to see some of these things beginning to happen in a new Runescape Comic book in 4 months.

There should be other games like SCUM, Space Punks, the Earthlock series and its newest multiplayer version, It Means Warp, Melver Idle etc on the Jagex Launcher to play soon too.

I am pretty sure OSRS is not the only game which will copy RS3 content and IP. The Runescape memories can continue in numerous Jagex ways, if in the unfortunate event we don't see OSRS anymore and RS3 remains invisible... but of course I will rather see Runescpe become visible again next week.

Nah! RS3 and OSRS aren't the only 2 Runescape games. There will be more Runescape franchise games. At least the Runescape Suvival Game is on the horizon.

If runescape doesn't exist> that means the parent company can still exists>Forum can exist but in another name>the next most popular game will dominate>forum would probably be in that name(funorb forums)>everyone will play funorb instead>rest migrate to other highest mmorpg>rest play single player>will have about a 15-20 years of success.

I'm not sure what I'd be doing !! Maybe migration to another mmorpg.

I don't know of any Jagexgames other than rs/osrs that have succeeded or lasted.
Not anticipating that to change.
