Didn't we just have a RS3 Jmod livestream 3 hours ago? I noticed Jagex haven't been showing their presence on Twitch the last few months and I even questioned if their livestreams were "dead" on this:
Quick find code: 317-318-433-66289154
Now that I think they are not dead yet, perhaps just not showing much enthusiasm as in the past.
I enjoyed the time when Jagex did livestreams as entertainments and not just a way to tell us the news and self-proclaimed how huggeeee their game and project was. I really enjoyed the cosplay and outdoor Behind the Scene type of livestreams with Mod Elfsborne, Granny Potterington, and Timbo putting on a Sliske mask. That was the Yoshi-P way of presenting Final Fantasy XIV while making himself a legend of the video game industry.
Not that anymore now but I still appreciate all the insights Mod Ryan, Sponge and the likes are sharing with us whenever they have a chance to.
Jagex's social media presence is still here, at least to me, but more on sharing of ideas with the community kind instead of bonding with the community.

@Dilbert ... it is hard for you to understand the question I asked you ... '
What has social media done for Jagex/JMods/RuneScape/RuneScape Community
'?
All things you do mention is '
is what Jagex/JMods 'did for social media
' to offer their side of the bargain.
It is the same. Didn't we learn more about Combat Rebalance today from social media?
I also mentioned the Behind the Scene style of livestream presentation in the past. Could Jmods show up in the RSOF or Reddit dressing as Mod Elsborne and Granny Potterington?
So you have to admit ... you can not name anything social media offered us 'Jagex/JMods/RuneScape/RuneScape Community'.
Social media did nothing at all other than to disturb and attempting to steal other companies creations without working for it. Just a bunch of thieves/wolfs in sheepclothing.

What? I already showed you Twitch as an example. Other social media like Youtube can bring us visual and audio "Jagex/Jmods/Runescape/Runescpe Community" content forums can't.
Many things you named already were done by Jagex/JMods themselves in the early years of RuneScape, so you didn't mention anything new something new we never did hear of.

Why do social media have to offer "new" things to make them different and have more to offer than forums? TV and radio aren't new but are they "done" now and everybody should go to forums?
When social media hasn't anything to offer than to claim soo much bandwith for a 'wasteland of degrading topics/subjects that degrade people' and withhold Jagex/JMods from their digital property than it is time to show social media the door.

Again, you need to tell the Jmods how to make audio and visual presentations on the forums first.
If they close the door on social media, how do the content creators at least part of Jagex think are "pivotal" help that part of Jagex to survive:
"Content creators, with their widespread reach and impact on our community and potential players, undoubtedly play a pivotal role in amplifying and enriching the gaming experience, and often assist in showcasing our game to a wider audience."
As long as a part of Jagex thinks content creators have "impacts" on the community and potential players, the door to social media where only can they show their "impacts" won't be closed. It is just a matter of how much they rely on social media going forward.
Dilbert, you still do not understand it ...

As long as social media is degrading into a wasteland ... gaming platforms will be effected by social media in an extreme negative way destroying everything these platforms did build.
Remove social media as a whole as it has no value at all other than a destroyer of things created by others.
