I will open my eyes for the development of modern and future technologies. I have just launched RS3 Mobile and am working on Console. There are something in between though. For instance, Steam will be releasing a portable gaming device in a few months. I'll see if there are new opportunities for games like RS3 or perhaps even the new games.

I will also step up the modernization of combat. Eventually, I think the new MMORPG genre will be evolved into something like what League of League: Story is going to be. There will be some crossover of traditional RPG with decades of rich lore and fast action, explosive MOBA type of combat. The action based combat appealing to the present and next generation players are lagging now. Of course, I can use even better and richer stories going forward into the next decade.

I will be focusing on making the World Guardian and the old and new Signature Heroes and Vallains like Laniaekea, Thok, Ariane, Kerapac et al, as well as RS's own unique storylines like Elder God Wars more iconic. These unique IPs will be immensely valuable to other big video game developers, movie/TV program makes, next generation metaworlds like the one Facebook is investing billions of $$$ on.

I will be looking at honing my communication skills and financial knowledge as once when Jagex goes public, I'll have to go out and talk a lot to the media and shareholders as well as the executives of the video game and entertainment industry.

I would bring back arcanists, mobilising armies, runescape classics.

I would fix the osrs fury (or) and give it the proper character model because for whatever reason they're had the wrong character model for years.

I would immediately add rares to osrs and I would introduce the divine spirit shield to the game. I would add player owned farms and summoning to osrs.

I would basically turn osrs into 2011 runescape. It would look exactly how it did int hat era of runescape.

Now I would start a new version of runescape as well. The real runescape, real "osrs". I would start 2004 runescape with 2004 graphics, 2004 layout, entire runescape would look like how it did in 2004. The game would definitely have discontinued rare items added to it slowly. As time went on we could add new updates to it. We would slowly update this version of the game up to 2006 runescape, and maybe even further but the layout and graphics will forever remain 2004 graphics and layout.

As for rs3 well I would introduce extremely hard bosses with simpler mechanics so that old players could keep up and play the game how they used to a decade ago. I would also add more rares into the game. I would add huge item sinks into all versions of the game when needed and rs3 definitely needs one and so does osrs. I would definitely give the players what they want!

I am very glad I have a capable CFO with proven record to assist me with Jagex's financial matters now, so I can turn my attention to other major sectors of Jagex's business such as operation and marketing.

One thing I noticed is we have just put up a job advert for a Director of Corporate Development days ago:

"Jagex is seeking to recruit a Director of Corporate Development to join the Strategy and Corporate Development team and lead M&A activities for the company."


Well, perhaps I should prepare to be the CEO of more companies than just Jagex soon.

As CEO I would instruct one of our “interns” to print out and make copies of the contents of this thread, then place them in prominent positions throughout the office (the canteen & pub) to give the rest of the staff a good laugh.

With morale suitably boosted I would address the elephant in the room ‘crunch’, quite frankly there’s simply not enough of it. We need more crunch, 168 hour weeks 400 days a year - we have boffins working on a space time contraption so we can get the staff working more than humanly possible. I say working it’s more like slav… no public relations said not to use that word “free labour” yes that’ll do. All current and future Jagex employees will be entered into our new Intern program.
Now you might be thinking ‘but SilverCloud I’ve worked here 10 years how could I possibly be an intern?’ To you I say… that’s CEO SilverCloud ok let’s not forget ourselves and the “intern” in our new “intern program” is used as a verb and you are all now my prisoners. The UK Online Safety Bill has officially been drafted. Similar regulation is in the brewing over in the USA. As the CEO of Jgaex, I will need to address Safety, Duty of Care and Fair Play issues to protect my beloved players and service users right now. I guess I am going to get started by consulting Mod Kelvin.

Given my company has resumed our Companies House filing the last month or so, including the most significant 2020 Jagex Financial Report, assignment of our new CFO to the Board of Director and replacing our company secretary since 2016 by a 3rd party secretarial and corporate governance practice firm, I am preparing to address the public again.

I am preparing a series of press releases on the company's direction, of course.

Oh, I think I am going to fix the air conditioning in the Jagex office first. :)

fist I'd revamp runecrafting in rs3 then fix any broken content and start adding skills to all skills that do not have them from there I'd also work on making sailing a real thing as well as getting feedback from players and making new quest lines and returning runescape road trip and I will bring back retro runescape and much much more so vote takru for CEO :)
