Send an E-Mail to Jagex at:- [email protected].
Even if you have reported in game you can follow up with an E-Mail. Now Jagex will send back an Auto reply saying Thanks for the E-Mail etc and say they wont tell you any further details as thats Private. But your Ingame Report and follow up E-Mail will help Jagex catch the scumbags who trick and scam others by luring them out of their cash and items.
This is a very old scam and been around for as long as I can remember. The sad thing is people within the Community still fall for it. Jagex and the Community have tried to help for years with this scam and how not to fall for it. The thing is people do not take any notice of the Warning before going into the Wilderness and go anyway.

I was going to lock this thread due to the detailed content. Seeing as so many within the Community have posted I feel it needs a chance to Educate the Community that still fall for this.

For sure, new scams should at least take some effort though xD The same bug being abused for so long is just kind of sad.
I've played for 19 years...I actually remember you from my middle school forum days and I'd bet my bank on you having locked many threads of mine back then lmao. (Yes, I know...considering I'm 30 now my maturity speaks volumes). Oddly enough I never encountered this particular scam until recently. Typically I entertain it up to the point they ask me to withdraw my valuables...then I brag about how I wasted their time and report the noob and anything the main could have said that passes as kinda sorta a little bit somewhat a modicum of sketchy.
