Possibly. There are probably other circumstances that can cause this behavior too. For example, if accounts on a specific world are reset due to a server crash, I believe this can also affect GE synchronization.

Can confirm @ server resets

So the other day, I had an offer in for an item for 6.5mil.

I bought the item, and to my surprise, sold to me for 2.8mil.

How would this happen?

If the GE gives the highest sell offer to the seller, why did I get it for 2.8m?

Obviously I'm not complaining - I got a bargain!

Just confused..
