hi

thanks for the guide. Lets say I have 800m gp and i buy a relatively cheap item idk say addy helms, is it possible that I could buy out all of the helms out of the ge that are being actively traded and would the price sky rocket? I know that it would take 4 hours to buy 100 but is this possible.

A while back red chinchompa inb for about ~850 and ins for ~1950. A friend told me what was happening so he quickly inb limit on them for *850 each and I inb about ~4K for the same price and we both ins for ~1950. Could this possibly have to do with someone logging in having an old inactive sell offer that became active upon login?

I'm not aware of an official source that discusses it, but you might want to refer to Mat Dragonx's guide if you want more info about the GE. Here's the guide.

Possibly. There are probably other circumstances that can cause this behavior too. For example, if accounts on a specific world are reset due to a server crash, I believe this can also affect GE synchronization.
