I have been question the limit though per 4 hours. On mahogany planks today I have bought and sold 40k of them in the past 6 hours. The limit is 10k/4hr but it seems as though everyonce in a while I will buy and sell back and then rebuy again, in less than 4 hours. Maybe it just has a glitch sometimes?

For those that undercut and 1up people's price with items on the top 100 traded list, please don't. It messes up buy/sell range of items and I've found that it doesn't take much longer to buy them at the instant sell price.

First of all, there is no selling limit. Buying and selling are completely unrelated.

It is possible to buy up to 2x the limit within a short period of time. Consider the following example:

Buy 1 plank @ 00:00
Buy 9,999 planks @ 03:00
------------------------------------
Buy 10,000 planks @ 04:00

In this example, you bought almost 20k planks within 1 hour -- but the purchases were part of 2 separate limits.

Could you reference where you got the information on inactive offers if not logged in for a week from? I can't seem to find it anywhere else and have never heard of it before. I've had an offer in for a Blue for over a year and a half now with no success and have had a few weeks where I have not logged on o_O.
