The boss on the Great Brain Robbery isn't cannonable, however I plan to beat him once I've got the right equipment.

And thanks for the information on Swan Song, I'll probably stay away from that quest for now, since I'm not confident I could beat the boss anyway.

Just a thought:
If you are going to try contact!, you can use a weak familiar to draw the attention of any mages and rangers that are spawned, so that they will attack your familiar instead of you. You need to be sure that your familiar attacks the mages/rangers before they attack you. When I did the quest, I also used this method to keep the mages off me, which worked quite well. I only had to tank some hits from the giant scarab.

Finally got enough loyalty points for Ancestral Spirit Aura on main, and did a bit of testing with it. I can confirm from earlier posts that it does not give xp, it does count as if you did damage, e.g. you get the drop. It also works in multi combat, can be taken into Glariel's tomb, and ignores the specific damage required to damage the Golems from Spirits of the Elid, tested this in the Dominion Tower. It appears to be random damage, not being influenced by what armour and weapons you wear and not affected greatly by your stats but did hit more accurately with higher stats.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what I should test this aura on? Keep in mind that it only lasts for 30min and has a 5 hour cool down time. Also, being done all quests, I am limited to only the quest bosses located in the Dominion Tower. Blackston is a Naabe.

Here are a few uses I could think of for the Ancestral Spirit Aura:

- Ability to complete 'The Blood Pact' without gaining HP
- Ability to complete 'The Slug Menace' without gaining HP
- Ability to obtain Defenders
- Ability to obtain Bonesack/Ram skull helm
- Ability to obtain Monster Trophies

I'm fairly confident that all of these can be accomplished using the Aura.

I can't wait until I'm able to buy one for myself! It's going to be a long 5 months :@

I'll have to try the two quests on this account at the beginning of June, should have the points for it. I'm assuming the Basilisk is the main problem for the Bonesack? I'm pretty sure you can get Defenders and the Slayer Trophies using it, I'll give the defenders a shot, get Dragon ones quite commonly.

Edit: While I didn't get a defender drop, I was getting the noted bones and stuff that comes along with using all tokens together. For the Rag and Bone man quests, I managed to get a shoulder bone as a drop so I'd assume you can get the bone from the Basilisk. Blackston is a Naabe.

Yes, Basilisks & Zogres are the only ones you'll need the Aura for.

Also, I'm certain Defenders are obtainable using the Aura, however it might take awhile to get them unless you get lucky.

Yea, I had managed to recoil 6 in that half hour. You could do more with some people venging you over time. The aura didn't even activate on one of them, which was a little odd considering the others it activated at least 3 times. Blackston is a Naabe.
