Anyone know if you can use a cannon for the boss fight in The Path of Glouphrie?

Ran through with my main, and could set up the cannon in in the outer parts, but i can't access the boss room again.

Edit: Yes you can cannon in the boss room, finished it a bit earlier. Blackston is a Naabe.

Edited to include total hp xp gained under perfect conditions. Was a bit shocked at how little it was.

Edit: added The Slug Menace in which bumped the total up 95, which isn't really worth it for the 1 quest point.

Edit 2: added more to the ones that need testing. Blackston is a Naabe.
