First things first. I cannot believe how long this thread has been active for.
I made this thread to allow people to show off their names that they have acquired. Whether it was waiting for a name to come free, waiting for Jagex to release inactive usernames or etc.
However, that does not mean that unique username does not matter either.
Anyway, over the years I learnt one thing. A rare name isn't a name that everyone thinks is "desirable". That's just an endless circle of people thinking "because this person wants it, I should take it." A rare name is a name that a lot of people of what it means to them. It's not some social construct or a hipster's trend.
