Don't fancy a Fire stick .... that Alexa thing is f'ing freaky and I don't have a Prime account anyway. We get the service as a 'second device' from our chum down the road who is an account holder. He gets to use our Netflix 'second device' (or whatever you call it). Good trade.
We were down his house last year having a beer and Da Boyz were talking about electrical circuits when Alexa chimed into the conversation. Bitch was listening to them even though no one had spoken to her
Creepy spying technology. Ewwww.
Yeah, you're right.....Alexa is always listening, the creeper.
I just find TV to be so utterly boring. Virtually anything I want to watch or learn can be found on the internet. When I want. For as long as I want. In how every many sessions I want. Without commercials.
Someone told me my soldering sucks. So I looked up how to solder on utube. Found this excellent advice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE9P67_E5N8
Wanted to see if anyone had done a heavy cover of "sultans of swing" and found this version.

Which in turn lead me to watching Bandmaid, which I linked earlier.
Then for general music discussion and theory there is Rick Beato's channel

For a change of pace you cant go past Norman Wildberger

Why? Because the idea of infinities
REALLY REALLY PISSES ME OFF
. Seriously. Yes. Seriously.
Then of course there is netflix, which although mostly rubbish, has gens. I liked the "Ballad of Buster Scruggs". Also binged "The Expanse", which whathisname mentioned earlier. Plus nature documentaries. Of course.
Since I like historically based games there is also the Wikipedia to check up on anything I might want to learn about in more detail
So, why would I want to watch TV?
I failed to keep my New Year's resolution before I even made it.

If you want to binge new stuff:
- Star Wars The Clone Wars (seven seasons)
- Star Wars Rebels (four seasons)
- The Mandalorian (one season so far, but two more are in the works). You can watch it without The Clone Wars or Rebels, but it makes a bit more sense if you watch it after those. Also, did I mention it has baby Yoda?
