Dardad, I would never be so blunt as to tell Lyra to "take a hike", but I am, in effect, recommending it and urging her to do so. As far as the FC goes, Lyra has no oversight and so she relies upon opinions, recommendations, and shared concerns by ranks and normal FC members alike. Just as a Board of Directors would do if a CEO could not commit the necessary time to fulfill their duties, I am recommending that Lyra step down - at least until she is able and willing to reassume control. This is nothing personal, and I don't want anyone to make it seem that way.

Lyra has always wanted what was and is best for the FC, and I am sharing my opinion that I feel it best that she step down if she can't host regular rank sessions and check in on the FC from time to time. If Lyra was in my position and I in hers, I believe she would say the same thing, and I would want to hear it, as I'm sure she does. After all, Lyra formed the FC on the basis of a direct democracy in which changes are made on the basis of what the FC users want and/or need, and therefore it is our responsibility to share such feelings and opinions.

Again, I reiterate that this is nothing personal. I have the deepest respect for Lyra as I always have and as she has always known, or at least I hope she does. There is a great quote from Tess of the D'Urbervilles, "If an offense come out of the truth, better is it that the offense come than that the truth be concealed." Some call this "brutal honesty", others say "brazen". I prefer to call it "open", because without openness we are hiding behind a thin veil of dishonesty and deceit for fear of possible ramifications. I will not hide behind such a veil for if I did I would not be showing Lyra the respect that she deserves..

For sure, but old school players still add no value. I was just providing some insight into why the rule was originally implemented.

And I have to say it's sad that 10 days after a new admin was appointed I'm the only one who has mentioned it and congratulated him, and I don't even know him.

Yes pretty much sums up why OS is kicked - we did it when DarkScape was still a thing (RIP).

If you're worried about line spam, try kicking from the companion app - these kicks will not appear in the FC. Only problem is that it is not as.. "user friendly" from the app.. seems a bit more clunky. One of many reasons the app stands for an upgrade..

Just going to put this out there, but I did kinda predicted this 5 months ago.... better late than never!

Dardad is right though, I should have said something awhile ago, but if I'm being completely honest it kept slipping my mind. Congratulations Bond on a promotion that was well deserved, and in my opinion a little late in the making. I wish you the best and would like to remind you of the setting to toggle private chat to offline or friends only (because let me tell you, you're going to need it ;) ). I think you'll do a great job helping to balance out the Admin team. Good luck!
