Ranking System

How to Obtain a Rank:

The ONLY way to acquire a rank in [R Quark] FC is to contribute. This can be done by:
-Monitoring the FC and enforcing the rules.
-Frequent, legitimate reports.
-Running the lists (PCing).
-Helping keep the [Discontinued Item Status] forum thread up-to-date.

Climbing the Rank Ladder:

•Trial Rank (Smiley)

A player can receive a smiley rank at any time after being recommended by another rank. A smiley rank shows that your efforts in the FC have been recognized. Conflicts by smiley ranks are not considered “Rank Conflicts” since smiley rank is still just a trial rank.

•Recruit-Captain

Having a rank between Recruit and Captain means that you have been voted up in a rank session and are trusted. Recruit+ are no longer considered “trial ranks” and their conflicts are now considered “Rank Conflicts”.


^Umm, that's what I normally would refer the prospective rank to.

In regards to Motherland, to get a rank I would look for more activity in the FC whether it be reporting more frequently, helping maintain order, explaining how the FC works to new users, running lists, etc. I've seen him in the FC quite a bit, but for a rank I would like to see more active contributions (just my opinion).

Edit: Also, his thread on why the b/s system is flawed and his suspicious reports assumingly demonstrating his theory are also just that - very suspicious.

(Thread explains that each item has a margin expected to be an approximate size and B/S help locate where it is, by manipulating this it's easy to shift a price in a direction - ex: if someone reports 2011b you can fake a report of 2010s immediately after and it's incredibly difficult to conflict, and gives the impression that the high end is well above 2011b and thus people will adjust offers accordingly)

Yeah, that didn't work. Trips was no help, said he'd look into but never really got back to me. Infernal yak is either gone or has pm off, and Lee M dislikes me. Hugs not drugs!

Yeah sorry, I've been super busy this past summer and haven't been able to get online much and talk with people who knew more of why you were added. I was hoping to talk with Lee since he added you back in like December although I have yet to get a hold of him. If the reasoning is okay we will let you know if you're off the list but for now please just have patience. You know how busy the leaders of 90weaps are, so you should understand that the quark ones may also be busy at times.
