The overall feeling of the fc that player A has displayed has been a consistent negative and annoyed view. Most of what he does outside of reporting his transactions has shown a negative effect on the chat's community and its members. Though I have put up with this behavior for a very tolerable amount of time, (again, 99% of people have been added to kos in quite less time) I think it is in the best interest that he remain out of the fc so that there are less problems that arise for him, and us. He is still free to check the forums and suggest ideas, but many things in the past made by everyone have been overlooked due to them not being constructive ideas.

This month's session:

- Congratulations to S z on becoming an admin, his hard work and dedication has really increased over the past few months and his efforts in the fc have really been appreciated. Feel free to bring all your fc related problems to him now ;)

- Range discussions were a large part of the session. Trades and ranges have been relatively inaccurate lately and have been hard to update so we're going to try something new for a few updates.

- We are trialing out a period in which
ALL
trades need to be confirmed whether it be rank or no rank. Also all trades need to be immediately confirmed either on forums, in fc or both of the players can pm any admin/star if they wish to remain unnamed or don't want to be in quark etc.

- Another thing that was brought up was how ranges are made. It was suggested that the opinionated based ranges are sometime too hard or skewed to use so it was mentioned that we try to use stats more often.

, if you wouldn't mind letting us using your splendid algorithm as another trial to see how alternate ranges go.

-Another suggestion that was made (via pm after much of the discussion was over) was to have the ranges be just 1 number which would be the average of the 10 most recent trades recorded. This would allow pricers to not have to type gruesome ranges all the time and would be a lot easier to update although provides bit less information about the going prices.

- Suggestions for add/kos can always be brought to my pm as with any other fc suggestions. You may post critism/ideas here as a way to get feedback and visibility.

First of all for full disclosure the pm about a single adverage PC on the range items came from me.

Currently a player can still trade above or below the range, changing to adverage wouldn't effect this.

A single adverage price has no subjective tendencies other than the ones that already exist (not reporting sales) which happens all the time whether range or ge items.

Would certainly make pcing much easier.

These items have a much larger range of price, which can work both ways, loose as quickly as you gain. AN adverage price of range IMO would align our range items with the way we report them, as they are reported as a single price, would stream line the pcing, would still allow free trade to take place at whatever price the buyer and seller choose to sell at and could be updated without drama with a calculator.

Additional idea would be to end these pcs with an "a" instead of "b, or s" to designate them within our lists as adverages.

For te record I don't own any party hats I'm poor, just my 2 cents.

Just my opinions on using maths for hat ranges -
I think it's important to have human input when deciding ranges, even if a mathematical formula is used. I definitely support bringing these into discussions though, and if everyone online at that time agrees with what the stats decide, then yay. And I don't just mean a ranked Quarker saying "yeah that looks fine", an open discussion is more transparent, even if people choose not to participate

However, relying on them alone opens up problems imo (e.g. see my post page 115 on the last thread). We'd also have to decide on a suitable formula, how much weight to give recent trades, how you award the weighting, how much you want to "deviate" from the weighted median, or w/e <-- it's all subjective, i.e. you don't make ranges more objective by just using a formula?
