, which had become overrun with pirates. The Alpha Male decided that the prison was no longer worth any effort to keep as the pack has moved away from taking hostages. The
Wolfpack
may come back to reclaim the prison some day, but more important issues are at their frontline.
The invasion of Crandor concluded in Ashdale's favor. The protectorate status
placed on the island by the Wolfpack has been lifted as the planted flag of
Ashdale brandishes in the breeze. The Wolfpack's champion, Alpha Male Golfercab,
and his pack fought valiantly but could not fend off the extraordinary power of
Ashdale's First Champion and Praetor of War, the Megawhale.
It was then, after they were ousted, did we celebrate. A slight disagreement on
who was the better Champion hampered the festivities and instead led to a small
domestic scuffle between the five Ashdale champions. In the end, it was resolved
with mutual agreement that the real Champion was a lesser demon found on the
island, named Vaaris's Ego.
A contingent of the Legion was left on the island, helping to rebuild the destroyed
city-state. This was also quite an advantage, as the Central Sea would see another
cascade imposed by Ashdale someplace else...
