I think you'll find all dog's feet start to bleed after about 30 miles on human paths :/ can be hard to plan routes which avoid them, and it's annoying to restrict ourselves to short distances.

They will even do so on grass and snow, if they're walking for long enough. : o

She's not all that sure about them, but is usually ok, after a while. It'd cause more upset if she wasn't allowed to come, so better off to have them. : p

With regards to resources, they're made from reindeer hide, and were already being used for a blanket, but unneeded - the owner didn't want the horse they had with them carrying extra weight all round the country, so it was better all round to have another use for it! Was good to catch up with them, anyway.

Um, a few things:

Purple is hard to read on the forum backgound.

ASCII and forum art isn't permitted outside certain threads :s if you keep posting it, you might attract the wrong attention, and end up with a mute (will depend on which mod sees.. as they all act differently), they probably wouldn't mind if you made it smaller, as it could be taken for a sig (needs to be 4 lines/ 1 and a half inches, max).

OK ! Sorry. It is nearly inevitable for Timo to forget certain rules unless he cares enough (onlooker: I'm not saying that Timo wants to be careless or disrespectful, I am saying that he simply doesn't have that motivation right now).

A*R*HHuestions. If you collect statistics about what different truth-seekers believe, they almost always fail to converge on any single suggested solution for the most important questions. It doesn't look good for justified certainty when different folks who are sincerely searching for truth have great certainty about polar opposite views. Are we doomed to irrationally land on certain conclusions directed by our unchanging attitudes and assumptions? The statistics of complete failure in truth-seeking should motivate us to clear out minds fully and throw out all the trash assumptions before we can start to build our beliefs. Or we could see the consistent failure as a way of improving on the art and skill of truth-seeking in all directions, and as we get better at this, the failures we produce become less false.
