From East Ardougne, Brother Rowan wrote a letter to Abou who is currently taking care of the administrative duties in the Order's chapter house in Al Kharid. He then sent the letter (and some tiny knitted socks) to him with the help of his pet silverhawk.
Abou received the letter before nightfall. He started reading the letter.

Greetings, dear Abou,

How are things in Al Kharid right now? Looks like it will take time, probably a month more here in Kandarin before I can head back to Al Kharid.

Anyway, I would like you to secure permission from Mubariz, one of the master duelists of the Duel Arena nearby, to use it for our Order's purposes. Explain to him that a combat training camp in the East is needed. Also, present to him the seal of our Order.

Once you have done it, please talk to Surgeon General Tafani and ask for one book about holy healing. She knows it and she'll gladly give it to you... provided that you tell her that I (Brother Rowan) would like to borrow it. Present the seal of the Order as well and she will comply. When you're back in the chapter house, please put it on the table in my room once you have it.

Also, please feed the courier of this letter. I have a jar of birdseed on my desk. Also, please put him some socks, included with this letter, on his feet.

Artemis looked over the note again. It had been months since Bill had moved into the Green Ghost Inn at Port Phasmatys. Artemis furrowed his brow in thought. On one hand, the pirates could be useful. On the other however, it strays from his cause. Artemis requested for Corvus Umbranox.

A black pool of flame forms on the floor and slowly manifests into the shape of a man.
“My Lord, I have the castle warded, you need only speak my name and I shall appear.”
Corvus stated as he dropped to one knee.
“How may I serve you, O Great One?”

The Demonlord looked at Corvus and sighed then signaled him to rise.
“I have received a letter from the captain of the ship The Adventurous, Bill Teach. He wishes to return home to Mos Le’harmess and requests aid from us. However, this does not fit with my aims of bringing our lands back together as one. He also thinks he may be able to sway the pirates of the island to our cause. I wish to know your take on the request.”
Artemis finishes and crosses him arms while sitting back in his throne.

“Hmmm, from what I have been able to ascertain, pirates are criminals among humans and are generally reviled. However, in some cases these particular humans may turn out to be more trustworthy than your average mortal.”
He said as he absentmindedly plucked at a loose thread on his robes, reminding himself to have his tailor flayed.
“It is in my humble opinion that we offer our services to this Teach, for these humans know the waters around our lands better than we and that may prove useful.”


Artemis nodded and motioned to Corvus that he was free to leave. Artemis beckoned a servant closer. The lesser demon made quick strides to the Demonlord.
“Yes master?”
he questioned with his head lowered, bowing in respect.
"Send for the Brotherhood of Flame and have them meet Bill Teach at the Green Ghost Inn. They should provide enough aid for him. Have them report to me once their duties are fulfilled”
The demon nodded and replied with
“At once my lord.”
Before swiftly leaving the throne room to carry out his orders.

A pool of orange flame appears in the throne room and a large black demon steps from the midst of the flames.
“My lord”
the demon says while bowing its head in reverence.
“The trip was successful and the rest of the brotherhood has stayed back to claim the island for you.”
The Demonlord nodded
“Very good, return to your brothers and maintain our hold. I will send for you via imp if anything changes.”
Artemis finished and the demon returned to the portal of flame.

Captain Blargism plopped down on the bed in his old, musty sleeping cabin, slowly taking both of his boots off. As he leaned over to tuck them under his bed stand, he noticed a small, gold colored envelope sticking out of the drawer. Upon further inspection, he noticed the envelope was sealed with wax in the shape of the Crown sigil. Blargism cracked open the seal, revealing a short letter written in neat cursive.

As I am sure you have heard by now, the Kingdom Navy is in an unfortunate state. Although we have two Lords familiar with the ways of the sea, their other responsibilities make it difficult for them to oversee the improvement of our Navy in full. Thus, after many years of being retired from service to the Kingdom, I ask that you sail to Port Sarim within the next week to monitor the building of several new ships I will soon be commissioning as well as begin the training of new crews for each ship. Lord Bigglez and Lady Franny Ruddalegur will be there to give to more information and to assist you in the beginning stages of your work.
