You are all officially under command of the Grand Pyramid during the duration of the Pirate threat. To the Captains and crews, you hereby have strict order to meet and destroy your targets. Any survivors must be swiftly killed. Leave any alive and they may end up killing you one day in the future. And under no circumstances shall there be prisoners. These pirates only wish to plunder and disrupt our way of life along with risking the lives of our people. Remember who you are protecting. With that said, here are your targets.

Reports from our engagements last week are coming in, and while they carry some good news, We still are facing grave danger. Therefore I am ordering that you take your ship and 5 other vessels, names to be detailed below, and meet two of the enemy ships in open combat, shoot to kill I care not for prisoners, what we got from our last group was worthless.

Be wary of these two ships. They will be heavily armored with unknown armor that makes them at best 3 vs 1 odds of a sink. Report in once you have confirmation of sink or retreat from our enemies.

Last thing Commodore, remove your sail banner, the last thing I need is for one of my best to die.

A Dogfight (Once Again)


Similar sightings of ships with skull-marked sails were recorded near coastal areas of the Commanderies of West Kandarin, Northern Kharid, and Ashdale.

As for West Kandarin, the Lance of Padomenes (5C, 2M, 3SEA, 2SPD) and The Holy Radiance (3C, 4M, 3SEA, 2SPD) began engaging a lone ship near the Ardougne Port.

For Northern Kharid, Iriandul's Resolve (4C 3M 3SEA 2SPD) and Derygull's Piety (3C 3M 4SEA 2SPD) engaged another near Al Kharid's port.

As for Ashdale, Sword of Zilyana (4C, 2M, 4SEA, 2SPD) and Starlight Unicorn (3C 3M 3SEA 3SPD) initiated the defense of the island against another.

Indeed, the pirate attacks came close to home. Saradomin be with the crew, for the dark days have began.

Soldiers were speaking inside the walls, cannonfire roaring since the early morning, the fighting came as far as the main gate but the pirate were held outside.
Standing on the battlements, shouting orders and casting spells, Mimring stood in full armor, staff pointed at a pirate ship, a burst of magic sprang forth and turned a ship's sails into flames.
"Send thoses motherless bastards into the depth!"
Cannonfire followed soon after and sent the ship into the abyss along with it's crew, the wobbegongs swarming the waters made short work of the survivors.

"How many ships left?"
"seven, Khan, down from twenty we are doing well" The soldier answered as he held his shield to block incoming arrows
"How many casualties on our side?"
"about 37, the medics were not prepared for an attack of this size"
"Alright, we should..."
Before he could finish however the Horn of the main gate rang, signaling pirates had managed to land on the beach.
Stepping into a cloud of smoke Mimring emerged above the Gate, the traps hidden in the sand having taken scores of pirates but their numbers seemed endless at this very moment, as they reached the wall, small panels slipped open and streams of fire met the pirates at the door and, as the fire died out the door swung open and rows of Goshimite guards
blocked the door with spears and shield, archers behind them raining whistling death on the pirates.
The shield wall moving ever forward pushing the pirates back into traps or back toward sinking ships.
As the final ship sank the pirate tried a desperate last stand but it quickly turned into an execution and, as the last remaining pirate stood Mimring stepped on the beach, the soldiers making a path for him, holding the man at spear's point.
"you, my piratical friend, have a lot of questions to answer"
"I'd rather die than say anything to you, goshimite scum" the pirate spat blood in Mimring's face
"Funny you should say that" Khan of Goshima, master of the order of the damned.

What twisted fate is in the air? Dayan awoke mere moments before my arrival!

Still, my brother's allies couldn't help but agree that his recovery might be long and his absence had shown weakness within the empire.

Perhaps that weakness could be further exploited... I must gather allies to strengthen my claim, or weaken his.
