Just Another Demon Nearby


"Sire! A small detachment of demons are emerging!"

The scout rushed back to report to Brother Vendragon, currently stationed at the base camp near the Dominion Tower, about what he saw. It was truth indeed when Rowan, alongside Pydomens and his band of footmen, saw a small group of Byzroth (lesser demons) being led by a pitch-black Alyaroth (greater) lieutenant.

"HOLY MEN! TAKE THEM DOWN IN ZAMORAK'S NAME!" screamed the lieutenant. The Byzroth soldiers began casting their infernal bolts of flame towards the detachment; however, the warpriest and his men stood strong. They charged head-on, battling the demons one by one.

In the heat of the fight, Rowan got himself locked in combat against two Byzroth; however, using the flame-imbued holy shortsword, he was able to take them down with little difficulty. Pydomens, on the other hand, used his crude silver hammer to send a crushing cyclone on four Byzroth swarming him, knocking them dead. The footmen, inspired by the deeds of their two superiors, fought as if Saradomin imbued them with power beyond compare.

Enraged at the swift losses incurred, the Alyaroth then proceeded to crush at the enemy. He set his sights on Pydomens, but Rowan managed to intercept his attack by casting a holy magical shield, thus preventing the blow. Pydomens then ordered his men to full assault.

Rowan went behind the defending footmen and started casting holy fire bolts on the demon in the efforts to repel the lieutenant while the soldiers started ganging up with their sword swings. However, the demon lieutenant managed to take down three footmen as he was near critical point. Then, with one last concentrated holy fire bolt, the demon fell down dead. Indeed, the demonic threat was repelled.

"Sire, I do wonder why these become more regular than usual. Last week, it was like that" said one of the footmen.

"We have fought so much today, Brother. I don't know how long it will take before something big happens" commented Pydomens.

After the battle, the men helped lift the bodies of those who were slain that time. As with the tradition of the Order, these men were set in a pyre that night.

The next morning, a raven arrived. It brought a letter from a familiar figure.

"Prepare my steed, soldier. I am heading to Lumbridge today" commanded the Brother.

(Sorry this is very delayed - dxp and all that.. Better late than never ;) )

It has been a few weeks since the last pirate attacks have hit the innocent villages that are next to coastal territories. Empires and Kingdoms have fought well against the pirates and their agenda. As the villages has just started to recover from the fatal attacks, horrible news reaches them and the capitals of all Kingdom - The massive cloud, believed to be the main pirate ship, that has been laying around the edges of the world, is moving. Professional navigators are not sure about the direction of the ship, due to the storm around it. Is it heading for Port Sarim? Entrana? Taverley?
Based on initial reports, the ship has massive cannons and is bigger than any ship seen before.


Introducing:

Special Ability: MORE CANNONS
Can fire at 3 opposing ships at the same time.

Location: The lore-location will be the west coast of Karamja.
To not force ship to leave their positions, however, any ship will be able to attack it, and the pirate ship is not on a spesific spot on the world map - much like the initial pirate attacks.


Let the final battle for the free sea begin!
Keep in mind that reward for participating is 1 free ship.

I am sorry to deliver to your door step yet another day of bad news. A small portion of our fleet set sail south-west four nights ago to scan the waters around Karamja. Upon their return, they brought to my attention something truly unsettling: several nautical miles from their location, the ships spotted what appeared to be a very large ship donning pirate flags off the coast of the island. They should not have been able to spot this ship from their distance away from it. I have sent a second scouting fleet to scour the area and confirm their sighting. If the ship is real, and if it as monstrous as my men make it out to be, I am not sure what the coming weeks will present. I will keep you updated.

Dear Elder Council,

Some of our ships stationed at the Ape Atoll outpost have spotted a large storm moving northwest towards territory owned by our allies at the Aegis of Saradomin and our own settlement in Taverley. The ship also hosts the biggest vessel most of our sailors have seen.

The pirate ships that raided us some weeks ago has also been seen flocking to this storm. The storm is moving fast, and an executive decision has been made - The Crystal Fleet will send some of their best ships to encounter this evil.

My old friend, it has been a while since we last spoke since out adventures in the Skull region.
You've always been a master of the seas when we used to go out and take out Khaiju's closest allies. Though those days are over, the adventures are not. With permission of the Pharaoh, I
hereby promote you to Fleet Admiral of the Arc. Attached is the latest report of the scouts have found.

We have received intel that a rather large ship is patrolling an area near Karamja. From what we know, this is no ordinary vessel, it would appear it contains multiple cannons on deck that would be able to fend off a large force if provoked.
Those in immediate danger would seem to be the several ships owned by the Aegis of Saradomin and within range of the Varrock Royal fleet.
We are certain however that the Kingdom of Isafdar will aid their allies and push back this monstrosity of a vessel but we too should aid them in this battle. Many will go down as a result, but these attacks must end for we have every reason to believe this is the headship.

I implore the Pharaoh and the council to take immediate action and strike at this vessel and aid in sinking it.
