It was several days later as Lorry had just completed her own daily training that she saw Manny and Dragin stride purposefully toward her across the outer yard of the Mansion. They both had bright expressions as they approached and she suddenly felt that they brought good news. She wiped her face with a dry cloth as they hurried to her.
"We found a place!" Dragin blurted as Manny opened his mouth to speak then closed it quickly.
"Fantastic news!" Lorry exclaimed happily. "Where?"
Manny was about to speak then paused and glanced at Dragin.
"Go ahead and tell her!" Dragin said with a gesture.
Manny chuckled and regarded Lorry. "It really is the perfect spot. I approached -"
"We." Dragin interjected.
Manny glanced at Dragin then back to Lorry. "We approached." he corrected.
"Better." Dragin said with a single nod.
"We approached King Nexi in Camelot about the possibility of renting space within his domain for our use with training. He was more than willing to allow us the use of his Castle. He further added that he and his knights along with Merlin would be going on a dangerous mission and he would grant us temporary stewardship of Camelot in his absence should any unforeseen event occur."
Lorry smiled. "That's great news!"
Manny nodded. "We..." he began and glanced at Dragin, who nodded with a grin. "have already taken care of all the paperwork. Just need your signature and we will have it notarized and filed with the court." he explained and handed her several papers.
"So when is King Nexi leaving on this quest?" Lorry asked as she perused the papers.
"Tomorrow. We will have these papers filed in the court today and make sure the King has a copy. We can move in anytime after that."

Lorry nodded and signed the papers then handed them to Manny.
"I'll let the rest of the Family know. You have both done great work. Thank you!"
Manny bowed his head respectfully and turned to leave. Dragin bowed to Lorry and hurried after him to see it done.
Lorry watched them go and felt so lucky to have such good people in her life. They were more than friends....they were Blessed Family.

The Blessed Family claims Camelot

Despite all our differences, I am really glad you guys have kept this community going. I know I became a bit of a controversial character in the end there, but you have surpassed anything I could've hoped for when we dreamed up 103.

PS, also still glad to see my formatting withstood the tests of time :P

Best of luck to you all.

Captain Thor pulled his coat tightly as he watched his breath ice as he exhaled. A stiff arm held the ship’s wheel with a stiff arm, looking out over the empty deck. The Northern Passage had been a tough journey for him and his crew on the Void Pride. Darkness and ice-cold temperatures had been a challenge for any ship and captain. He was happy the journey was soon at its end.

Meanwhile, in Prifddinas the Elder Council were busy setting out orders. The city had been mostly re-sung from crystal back to its original state, after the zombie attack, and within the capital things were running smooth. However, news of a new Kingdom to the north had spread, and some uncertainty had spread within the Isafdarian ranks. The Elder council had yet to meet with these newcomers, but to be safe, they had ordered the evacuation of the fishing village of Hemenster. The village had almost no armed forces, and had many elderly citizens. Instead, the Elder Council had looked north for more land, and it was decided that it would take the island of Jatizso. Crystal Tide would sail from Miscellania to Jatizso, and to see who ruled the land with the Tribes gone. They would offer great protection and resources in exchange for land and settlement.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
KOI ORDERS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- Release Hemenester
- Claim Jatizso
(Clan: Kingdom of Isafdar, Land: Jatizso - Island, Access to land: By Sea)
- Build Guild in Tarddiad to increase ore production
- Transmute 9 flax to ore
- Build Guild in Prifddinas to increase ore production

(Both with energy)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ok good luck
A Search in Vain
Cain stepped into Mimring's quarters on Goshima. The Khan was gone, but hopefully all of his notes on necromancy weren't. There was a particular book that Cain was searching for - the Book of the Dead, according to Divinus - that allegedly contained information on what plagued the Pharoah.
If only Mimring were here, Cain thought, I could just ask him for the tome, instead of having to go through his things...
At first, it felt awkward opening his drawers. He had all sorts of strange items that only a necromancer would possess. After being timid for the first hour, Cain became irritated, and started completely ransacking the place, turning entire drawers over in a futile attempt to find this book.
After a long time searching, Cain gave up. With a heavy sigh, he decided to go for a walk.
While Cain was gazing at the beach, he saw his faithful parrot returning to him on the horizon with a scroll tied to it. Perhaps the scribes had some success...
The letter read:
Vizier Cain,
After you reported the information that Divinus gave you, finding out about this rather ambiguous curse became trivial. It is recorded in the Book of the Dead, which we conveniently have here, in the Grand Library of Menaphos. I'm surprised you didn't know, since it is in the restricted section to which only those of sufficient rank can access.
Of course, if you had simply asked me for the Book of the Dead, I would have provided it before your journey to the Arc Islands. Perhaps you should do your research next time.
Sincerely,
- A Scribe (Agent 3)
"Perhaps you should do your research next time blah blah BLAH!" Cain mimicked, annoyed. He crumpled up the letter. At least I know where the cursed book is now... He got on the nearest boat to Menaphos.
A Tome of Secrets
The journey back to Menaphos was rather uneventful. Cain tried to sleep on the way, but he wasn't sure what was keeping him up: the uneasy waves that rocked the boat back and forth, or the just general feeling of unease he felt on his mind.
If what Divinus told him is true, then there is an ancient undead guardian currently residing in the mind of the Pharoah. He would have to look at the book to confirm this, but Divinus normally wasn't wrong about these matters.
This would mean that the only way to truly rid him of the curse would be to enter the Pharoah's mind, via Lunar magic. He had a spell that could mimic a potion of Shared Dreaming, so that wasn't an issue, but the real problem was that Cain wasn't comfortable going into someone else's mind alone.
Will I have to fight this thing? He shuddered at the thought.
At the earliest time possible, Cain made his way to the Grand Library, though he was told that the Book of the Dead was set aside for him in the Pharoah's Quarters. He found that the Scribe had left a bookmark ( thank V, Cain thought) in the relevant chapter.
He began to leaf through the pages...
Asim, the Guardian of the Pyramid
It is known that Asim rests well below the Grand Pyramid of Menaphos. In life, he was the building's most trusted guardian. He single-handedly defeated assassins, bandits, and rogues who threatened either the Pharoah or the pyramid. He was a skilled mage, who was known to turn the natural environment against his foes.
It is generally not advisable to raise Asim from the dead, as he swore a blood oath to never allow those who not from the direct bloodline of Tumeken near the Pharoah's throne. To prevent such an event from occurring, a protective spell has been cast on his tomb. It would take a dramatic, cataclysmic event to undo such a spell.
Great...I've got my work cut out for me... Cain sighed.
