Grumbling to himself in a strange tongue while doing so until the legs were repaired and functionnal. "Alright, now we can set to work and I do mean we because the both of you are going to give me a hand."

Zidrisa would sit still as the necromancer would do his work, watching closely at every movement and motion he took. Her eyes widened as she realized what was being done. After the reconstruction was complete, she would look up at him with still decaying eyes, "I thank you for this..." She would slowly stand. Sedridor, glaring at Mimring, would mutter, "Seems you can give yourself a hand... Or even two.." Rolling his eye, Rnoy would lightly smack the old man's back. "Enough, we've got this." In the back of the room, April would be jotting down notes, muttering to herself about something being fascinating.

"I need your help, Sedridor, because even if I can pin the energy I can't following it with any accuracy, your help will be essential even if you don't like this," as Mimring talked he placed his palm on Zidrisa's forehead and started to focus.

Sedridor would continue to grumble to himself, moving to stand beside April and await his time. "Um what are you doing..?" Zidrisa's tattered brows would furrow. "I'm trying to find the source which is keeping you alive, as undead can't keep going without energy being poured into them, it means something or someone is keeping you alive." Closing his eyes, Mimring would motion for Rnoy and Sedridor to get closer.

Rnoy and Sedridor would obey and move to either side of the necromancer. "What do you need us to do?" Rnoy looked over to him. "Once I found the source I want you two to follow the energy and pin-point it. Just follow the flow."

The two men looked at eachother then back at Mimring before placing their hands on either of Zidrisa's shoulders. Closing their eyes, they would focus. "I see the trail... it's leading towards the south west..." Sedridor would tilt his head. "Yes... it's a fair ways away, isn't it..." They continued to follow the stream of power for several moments until they reached the origins. Both would open their eyes and look to Mimring. "Feldip Hills." They said in unison.

Taking his hand off he would look at the two wizards, "Well it seems we have a location, I leave the message to both of you, I need to head to Ardougne quickly."

"Very well, we shall see you there." Rnoy would nod and look to Zidrisa who was slightly starstruck by it all, "Thank you, Zidrisa, you did good." She would shrug, "You're welcome I guess..." He would turn to Sedridor, "Send the word out to all the far reaches of Gielinor... Feldip Hills is our destination. Have them send only to which they can spare. We'll need all the help we can get, but we cannot leave the territories defenceless from the remaining undead." Then finally he turned to April, "Hope you were taking notes." She nodded frantically, "Yes Sir, I was." "Good. I need you to head to Varrock." "But why, Sir, don't you need me with you?" "No, Queen Sora is due to give birth any day now, and I need to know she has the best of healers at her side."

He would nod to all parties then turn directly to Mimring, "It was a pleasure to see you again, old friend." Without waiting for response, he would make his way from the room and decend from the tower.

Packing his tools back up, Mimring would head toward a window before unrolling the carpet and leaving with it toward Ardougne across the sky.

Sedridor and April would look to one another before quickly rushing out to do their specific duties. Zidrisa would look around and shrug, "Such busy bodies..." Before resting upon the bed and resuming her nap.

A Word to the Wise

"To each and all who are dealing with the undead menace that has stricken our lands! We have our heading! With the ... help ... of the necromancer, Mimring Ikol, we have found the origins of this tainted ritual. Feldip Hills! Archmage Rnoy has already set off to the location, and will await all incoming forces.

"Tread carefully, friends! We must prevail together, or we will fall together!"

Signed,
Elder Archmage Sedridor of The Wizards' Tower

Sedridor would summon Postie Pete, giving him the parcels to deliver to the kingdoms of Gielinor.

The light over Witchaven

Mimring is crossing the sky, holding on the carpet as it make it's way toward Ardougne , Looking at the piles of dead undeads.
"well, the Aegis certainly held the line, I hope the casualties are not too high..."
Deciding to land a fair distance to the north of the city, He would roll the carpet and make his way toward the city.

Making his way on foot toward the city until he is stopped by a Crusader, keeping guard on the Path.
"State your business, fellow, lest you want the sword to pierce your throat."
"I am Mimring, Khan of Goshima, and I demand to speak to the one in charge here, be quick about it" Glaring at the crusader Mimring is tapping his foot in annoyance.

"Khan... of Goshima? Khan or not, are you the ringleader of these undead?" asked one Shieldbearer.
"Think carefully of your next few words, fellow." said the other as he prepared his mace, intent on squashing someone at this moment.

"Do I look like an Undead to you? I came here because I may have a solution to your problem, now if you wish to avoid casualties, go and fetch... what's-his-name-again... Rowan! "

"Ahhh, Lord-General Rowanius? From your looks, you look like you did this havoc. Henceforth, your blood will please Saradomin! Die!" Slowly, he prepared he mace and began swinging it.

As he was about to swing it, a voice was heard. "ENOUGH!"
The mace barely touched the Khan. "Why do you treat a guest like that, soldier? He is the Khan of Goshima!"
"Lord-General... He looks like he is cohorts with Zamorak, our sworn enemy!"

Sheathing the sword that had almost found it's way to the man's throat Mimring turned toward the origin of the voice
"at last, sense in thses parts"

"Forgive me for my soldiers' indecency, fellow. It's been a long time, Mimring. How is the island faring?"
Afterwards, he told his soldiers to leave them and guard their post.

"Goshima is standing, no undeads there, this doesn't seem to be your case however" Glaring one last time at the Shieldbearer he would make his way to Rowanius.

"It's a bit cold here; you're welcome inside my tent. Take a seat". Brother Rowanius then did the honours to his guest. "Say, what brings you to this place, Mimring?"

"straight to business, like the others... so be it. I am here because I have a solution to your undead problem" Sitting on the offered chair
he would scan Rowanius face for reaction and wait for an answer

"And what would that be?"

"it would seem the message failed to reach you, very well" Mimring would pull from his backpack a scroll with a complex diagram drawn on it
"once drawn in the center of Ardougne this will prevent any undead from approaching, even Witchaven will be protected"

"A sort of ward, you say?"

"Yes, i suppose you could call it like that... But i need to tell that it is necromancy and I would understand if you were to refuse"

"Wait... you're going to counter the threat... with something in which these undead pests were produced in the first place?"

"I am fighting fire with fire and winning, so far Menaphos, the wizard's tower, Darkmeyer and many others are using this magic and are safe"

"Summoning the dead, eh? Seems like a dark art to me if I encounter a necromancer, hehe."

"it does not summon the dead, it isolate the undead thanks to the energy used to animate them and repel only what is touched by said energy. It does NOT summon undeads"

"So, it's the dark energy that will shield this city from the undead, huh?"

"No... It REPEL dark energy"
~Zaros, this is getting ridiculous~

"And what energy does the ward use if it is not dark?"

"it uses the energy you feed it, since i will be the one making the circle it will be mine and after that it feeds on what you give it"

"And what energy will you use then?"
~Man, I hope Light energy works~

"I brought containers of divine energy" placing one on the table Mimring would continue "I assumed you would be against using energy from a necromancer"

Rowan would think twice about the proposal set by Mimring. ~I cannot simply take his proposal lightly; I have to consider the options.~
"Yeah, looks like I need to think twice about using such accursed energies, fellow."

"Rowan, time is vital, the more we will wait the more undeads will rise there will soon be a time where even thoses wounded will turn into undeads, the more we will wait the more casualties everyone will suffer. The origin of the spell has been found too, if you make your decision quickly we can save Ardougne AND everyone"

~Light of Saradomin, do I have to grasp the darkness even for once? I still believe that the Holy Light is brightest in the dark.~

"and If you look at it that way, you are actually turning the dark magic against itself to work for the light"

"Alright, I may not agree with everything, but if this is to save this realm, let it be so. But still, allow me to use the Holy Light against them."

"of course, of course it is your forces and your decision, a good decision by the way. now allow me to draw the circle, If one mistake is made the consequences could be... Dire." Mimring is already standing up and heading toward the center of Ardougne

While the conversation is going on, a Knight of Ardougne came in. "Lord-General, a massive wave is incoming!"
"Prepare yourselves, men. Defend the sector while our guest here is setting up!"
"Mimring, I'll trust you for this one. Hope it works."

"you won't regret it"
As He reaches the Center of the city he would place the tip of his staff on the cobbles, magic sparking and burning a large circle into the stones until a good half of the plaza is covered in symbols and markings, the circle is of insanely complex design, the whole process taking mere minutes.

Stepping away from his work Mimring would make a reverence toward Rowanius "If you will, Lord-General"

A massive wave starts battering through the walls. The combined Royal Military and the Fellow-Soldiers of the Aegis start to defend the walls while the guest is preparing a ward. Rowan then joins in with a new cohort and marched forward.

Time is of the essence at this moment; the soldiers must stand their ground.

Looking around, noticing the absence of Rowanius Mimring turns and head toward the sound of combat
"ROWAN, THE CIRCLE IS READY!"
~where is that bloody saradominist...~

Rowan is now seen with the cohort being pushed back.
"Ahh, the circle is ready? Be quick; what's the plan?"

Looking at the situation Mimring raise his staff and with a word of magic, large icicles rains on the undeads pushing the defenders
"you go to the circle and activate it with your light energy or whatever, i'll stay here and help"

"Right." Rowan, protected by his cohort, now starts imbuing the holy energy from the circle. As he begins activating it, his eyes begin to glow white. Winged projections start to appear from his back.
"Now, light our darkest hour."

As it is activated, the circle emit a blinding pulse of light, the energy burning the undeads all the way to the edge of witchaven, leaving all the living untouched.
~Yes! It's now working! The undead now succumb to the holy flames!~
With the power emanating from the circle burning them, the undead are now speckles of dust.
The undead are virtually no more; the Fellow-Soldiers and the Royal Military knelt. One soldier said, "Clearly, this is the power of Lord Saradomin!"

Looking at the kneeling soldiers Mimring would leave the battlefield to meet with Rowanius.

"It worked. Not so bad after all."

"took you some time to realise, anyway, i need to be off to feldip hills. As soon as you have a proper force you should head there too. It's the origin of the undeads and we will need all the forces we can get"

"Aye, Mimring. Took me reasonably long enough. Anyway, the sun is about to rise; we all deserve a break."

"rest if you want, I don't have time" Unrolling the carpet Mimring would climb on it and with a final look at the city head toward feldip Hills

The soldiers then take their rest. Not for long, they will be called for the mission as Mimring said.
"Fellow-Soldiers, take your rest. Later on, we will be heading south... and crush these undead once and for all!"

Realization

The letter from Archmage Sedridor arrived about an hour after the horde of the undead at the Salve Temple had been obliterated. Artemis stopped his preparations for heading to the elven city and read the letter. The letter was short but detailed a call to arms.

“Feldip Hills…”
Artemis thought to himself. He had an old family friend that lived there…She wouldn’t had been so stupid as to start this…would she? Xyla was eccentric and he knew she liked to tamper with things that were beyond her control, but this?

Artemis slammed his fist onto the table almost splitting the table. There is no way she could have done this by herself. Not a spell of this magnitude. He thought of the lives lost throughout the lands of Gielinor. Surely, she had failed and now he had to clean up her mess…again.

The Demonlord sighed. If it wasn’t Zarr, it was her causing trouble. Artemis recomposed himself and drank the energy potion he had prepared that was sitting on the now cracked table. He was ready to go. The elves would have to wait as this was far more important.

The Hills Are Alive

The Demonlord landed hastily. The potion’s effects were wearing off after the long flight. It had been years since his last visit, however it seemed like very little had changed. The main difference was the blood red ritual circle that had been surrounded by five dead mages.

Artemis noticed Xyla’s dead body and walked over to it.
“You moron…”
The Demonlord said with sadness in his voice.
“I told you to be more careful. Why do you never listen?”
He looked around at the other four bodies. The others wore clothes like those found in the other kingdoms. Artemis wondered how she convinced them to join in her mad scheming...

Pools of flame appeared on the ground as demons started appearing nearby. His reinforcements where here. Dusk was coming, and they had to be ready for the oncoming horde. It was now or never. The battle of the undead was approaching.
