pokey, we can't scrutinise every new applicant/current member to the point of obliteration and then demand more people to floor. people like swiftles are greatly needed for when things struggle to form and without him/anyone else who does the same, the floor wouldnt have formed anyway.
you neglect the realisation that the social aspect of this chat is what people stay for, without this there would probably be a lot less people. people migrate here because we floor regularly, have a great concept for structure, and because it is a nice closeknit community willing to support each other. remember pokey, you quit the chat and then returned 4 hours later because, and i quote, "the other chat was soooooooo boooring no one talks ._."
if you feel that your point can only be put across by browbeating and the insulting of fellow members/new applicants then by all means leave before you push it too far and are removed.

THank you for all the floors, the chat, the people, the patience, the leadership, the awesome keying, the proficient skilling and the never ending bashing skeletons' heads in.

I ll be around for some time for the comp cape still .

@Pokey's comments.
You want more floors forming, but you want us to remove members that aren't up to par to your standards.
What it sounds like is you want a fc full of Pokey's in it that will join a floor at your whim.

When did I say i wanted to remove current members? I'm just saying not everyone will be the highest quality anyway. But do you expect every keyer to want to train every new joe and sally that join this chat? We have standards we follow, and some new people just won't adapt.
And btw, I didn't leave for 4 hours. I left for 2 weeks. Your solution to me getting angry is "take time off and let it go" but I'm tired of always letting things go when they're a consistent occurrence in this chat.

Pokey, I have read your posts with an open mind. But you have posted many things and several times have indicated that you are getting angry about it and tired of letting it go.
But honestly, you have posted so many things, and then qualified them in later posts, that I am having a hard time making sense of them.
For example, I would make your current list as:
1. Kick everyone who doesn't have the main goal of "I want to dungeon and the rest of runescape is just filler content"
2. Wipe the friends list, since probably only 50 would reapply.
3. Open the friends chat
4. "Some people that make it in still aren't up to par with standards we should be having." - Implying your standards are not the ones that the generals are upholding.
Now, I am not saying this list is correct - not at all. it may be COMPLETELY wrong. But you have written lengthy posts and this is what I have taken away from them. And sometimes you have indicated in later posts, no, that wasn't quite what you meant.
So, for the sake of clarity, could you please post the points you are really trying to make in very short simple bullet form? Not a lengthy description of each, very short.

1. Don't kick, but rather have people actually interested in dging. Social chat or not the amount of frequent and active dgers is still low.
2. This was sarcasm, but I still think it's pretty accurate.
3. This ties with my logic of arguement 2.
4. Should we have low standards? We want a "high quality" fc but I still don't see the difference between a level 120 with poor knowledge of dungeoneering or a level 100 with actual wits and skill applying. Our application doesn't reflect that.
My real arguments?
-Have people more active for the sake of the fc.
-Stop putting down different logic because you want to keep the fc "calm" sometimes change can be good. I support all my reasoning as best I can within confines of this forum.
-Be more involved (generals). I don't see how you can lead a fc without interactions with any of the newer players.
-Don't completely deny opening the fc, or does simply the fact that we're popular just sound horrid?
-If we're actually going to deny spots in the fc, at least make it something different than our rare drop policy. I agree that should be known thoroughly but it's still more or less irrelevant.

Pokey, don't bother. They just want the new people to improve up to a certain point and then they don't care if they improve past that. They also, for whatever reason, prefer the fc to be really social instead of being a Dungeoneering fc. It isn't worth it.
