Vindicta & Gorvek Boss Mass Recap

Tonight was very successful in terms of knowledge, experience, and drops! Clan member Varrick was able to use this opportunity to learn and become proficient in the Vindicta & Gorvek boss fight. To top all of this off, I was able to retrieve a Glimmering Scale drop for the Rawrvek boss pet! Thank you so much to all that came, and I hope this may attract more clan members to future PvM bossing events.

Hunt the Hellfire Recap

The event was a blast! We tried out different things, including restricting the play area to the member's only wilderness area north of the gates. This allowed quick regearing and teles back into the wilderness to reclaim the Hellfire Bow. Utilizing Discord's voice chat created an even more exciting event as we hunted down each other for the bow. We also ran into a group of other people that wanted the Hellfire Bow for something else. In turn, they were sent to Edgeville. Thank you for hosting this Varrick. I look forward to seeing this again in the future!

Senate Meeting Recap

Events

We have been having a whole host of events recently and this is definitely a great direction for the clan to go. Our Aediles will continue to focus on the upkeep of their events. Additionally, a handful of clan members have also been hosting very successful events. The Senate thanks you for your input towards the clan and hopes to see a similar continuation. Reminder that any clan member may host an event, as long as it consists of 4 or more clan members present.

EU Members

This brought us to the next topic. Although TRE is Eastern Time Zone-based, we do have a handful of clan members residing in Europe and other various locations. It was brought to my attention from one of our European clan members that all of our events begin near the midnight hour for GMT. We will begin to host some of our events at earlier start times to accomodate for this, as we do not want any clan member to be left out.

Clan Vexillum

With the Recruitment Raffle in full spin, I wanted to understand how Runescape's Clan Vexillums work a little more. After a bit of testing and research on the Runescape Wiki, I found that use of the Vexillum is easier than I thought. There is no distance cap on how far away you can be from the Vexillum (going in different planes/dimensions will not despawn it). When placed on the ground, you may bank the Vexillum's "item" and the actual Vexillum will stay on the ground for display. It does despawn if left for 1 hour, or if the player logs out/hops worlds. All in all, please feel free to place our Clan Vexillum down where you see fit, as it may attract new members and display our presence in the world 60 community.

Dagannoth Kings Boss Mass Recap

Tonight we took a trip back in time to boss mass the Dagannoth Kings. Unfortunately, no pet drops acquired. However, we did receive a decent split for a very old boss. Keeps you on your toes when constantly switching gear/weapon setups. Thank you for hosting this event Varrick!

-- Meeting Recap for 8/22/2017 --


Recap:

- The clan citadel is currently slated to update the Avatar Habitat. This upgrade will add a second avatar which will available for use in any world, not just world 60 like the current avatar. We start this build tick with 92% toward the upgrade goal for the Avatar habitat, needing around 5k precious bars to complete the upgrade. This is a goal that should be able to be met this week and once it is met, we can hopefully begin the progress toward T6 citadel, or whatever Dalton sees fit.

- The clan recruitment raffle was also discussed once more, with 5 total entries given out in the first week, we now sit at 181 clan members, with our end goal of 200. We made it a goal to have 190 members by the end of this week, which could put us on track for 200 by the end of august/beginning of September.

- Members were also reminded to join Discord if they haven't already and then check the events and other sections for useful information, such as about the upcoming events being held by Laina and Workdolphin Thursday and Friday.

- InfiniteRick suggested that he would make a new Discord channel for people to vote on the various Roman names that have been suggested for our impending second avatar. Additionally, he suggested that whoever came up with the name that wins, will be able to choose the design of the avatar.
