Hi Clan Leaders :)

I thought it might be nice to have a place to discuss some of the good times we've shared with our clanmates, and to share some of the ways that we celebrate and remember those times.

I hope that the responses in this thread might be helpful for clans looking to find ways to help their clan mates have more fun in RS :)

1) What are some of your favourite clan memories, and what makes them memorable?
2) What are 3 RS activities your clan likes to do for fun?
3) How does your clan celebrate or remember good times like achievements or clan events?

Looking forward to reading your responses :)

P.S. don't forget to have fun on RS once in a while :p

I think for me my favorite times with clanmates are always DXP weekends because it is always a giant party. Tons of people logged on at once, everyone excited to get gains, people on at all hours of the night. We also get to see people who don't play much or were on a break who come back just for DXP and people are more likely to join the clan's discord server.

It's by far the best bonding "event" my clan has and they single-handedly bring a boost to clan activity afterwards. Unfortunately I had to miss the most recent one because I had plans already.

Ooh, yeah! DXP was a pretty good time for my clan too. There were more people online than usual and lots of level ups to celebrate! It was also nice seeing some people again after they'd taken break.

Aww, luckily there's more dxp events to come. Hopefully the next one works out better >.<

1) What are some of your favourite clan memories, and what makes them memorable?

Back in the day when we achieved T7 Citadel/Clan Dragon was a huge achievment for us. Probs one of my favourite moments.

2) What are 3 RS activities your clan likes to do for fun?
- Peng hunt
- Corp
- BM

3) How does your clan celebrate or remember good times like achievements or clan events?

We usually do give-aways, drop parties, hide n seeks to celebrate such things

Aww yeah, good times! :D Reading this reminded me of what it was like for us to achieve Tier 7 too. For such a long time, our clan wasn't really seeing much activity and I thought we'd never get it. It took a lot of time to boost activity back up through recruitment and doing more clan events, and it was such a great feeling to finally get Tier 7 and have a sparkly vex to play with :D

I was less active around the time we got the clan dragon, so it was a nice surprise to see what they managed to get done while I was away :')

I'm a bit of a pvm noob so I don't join my clan's bossing groups much, but we also have a good history of doing penguin hunts together :3 I've always thought that penguin hunting was a pretty fun thing to do with friends, I think we could do with more fun group things like this in RS :)

Ooh, these sound like good ideas, I think our clan could do with more celebration events like this. >.<

Thanks for sharing, Ceecs :)

I should probably write a response myself haha

1) What are some of your favourite clan memories, and what makes them memorable?

I just asked my clan mates to help me answer this question, and they gave me a good laugh with some of the things they said ^_^ We've got a lot of inside jokes that just make it a good laugh to read the clan chat while skilling :)

I've been in the clan so long now that it's hard to remember everything that we've done together >.< I started off in the clan as a recruit in the fc days, and it was a nice journey to go up the ranks and eventually join the management team.

The clan has also been a really supportive place to be during difficult times, and looking back at clan memories reminds me of some difficult times in my life. I'm really grateful that friends on RS can be good to talk to when talking to other people doesn't seem to help.

2) What are 3 RS activities your clan likes to do for fun?

Dungeoneering, dungeoneering and dungeoneering :3

Just kidding, that's just me. :P

- Dungeoneering (usually hosted by me)
- Bossing (usually hosted by one of our admins)
- Whatever minigame/d&d is popular at the time >.< (including penguin hunting, fish flingers, vis wax, and recently shifting tombs)

3) How does your clan celebrate or remember good times like achievements or clan events?

I think we probably haven't been doing this enough >.< Usually whenever someone gets an achievement like a 99, we just do some congratulatory spam in the clan chat like "gratsssssssss!!@!@!@!@!@!@"

The Rising's last war before closure in 2012, we pulled 90 people and fought the undisputed #1 clan at the time; RSD:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLa845_j3Nw
The team work and atmosphere were amazing, lots of old members came back just to fight for the last time.

When The Living Legends became too powerful for W141 CWA, we dumped our armour and started fighting in monk robes and still owned.

Final Dawn vs SO, they had twice our numbers but mostly lower levels and far less organization, so we could just play around a bit.

With Clan Europe, winning a Clan Cup was quite a highlight, mostly because the atmosphere was fantastic and it felt like a reward for all our efforts in keeping F2P warring alive.
Another great thing was when our caller couldn't find a pile, legend says he's still having nightmares https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1DMS7FnWIY

2) What are 3 RS activities your clans like to do for fun?
Clan Wars
Wilderness Wars
Most other RuneScape activities we used to do sadly became too inactive or dead content

3) How do your clans celebrate or remember good times like achievements or clan events?
Feels like a lot of memorable achievements and events are ages ago, RuneScape isn't what it used to be and it just shines through. Every time we remember the good old times we also realize this game is nowhere near as fun or massive as it once was.

I especially remember the Skill Wars.

The most remembered skillwar was when I teamed up with the first lvl 3 to 200m agility experience. I competed against him, I was very dedicated and both of us had a very hard time. We completely pwned the other clan but I couldn't win against him. He was a great friend and a real Warrior - I am more than happy about his achievement of 200m Agility experience! It is one 200m skill that I could only dream of for this moment on any other game than RS3, even when Agility is my favourite skill!
