Premise: Upon the development and release of one of the later regions in the Archipelago, we find an island housing an array of bosses.

The island would be accessible to each clan should they meet a certain requirement, and would be instanced similarly to citadels. Perhaps the citadel portal itself could double as an access point to the island?

On the island. activities are performed which dictate which boss would spawn. The activities would create the conditions, set the stage for the actual encounter. They may take several weeks to set up, and several weeks more to change.

Clans could alter the conditions to faces bosses that pertain to their clan. Perhaps a simple skilling boss or 2 could be introduced? probably shooting to high I know;p

As far as the bosses, they'll only spawn if "baited". Anagogic orts would be the bait. A number of clan mates would contribute an amount of orts, the number of clan mates and amount of orts dictates the bosses difficulty and reward potential.

A highscore table tracking each clans kc over each boss could also be introduced. And of course boss pets lol.

Upon the arrival to the island, an outpost would need to be built by the clan, perhaps containing features such as a bank.

Setting the actual stage would involve clearing the islands' trees, exposing caves, building bridges to otherwise inaccessible areas.

In the last front page poll, 46% of players said that they don't boss... so is this really a worthwhile investment of developer time?

I mean, a clan could just get its own instance of any of the existing bosses if there was a need for group combat...

OP I don't want you to freak out - but I'll actually support your idea.

We have citadels with skill plots only clan members can interact with, why not bosses?

As has been pointed out, if those not in clans wish to boss they have plenty of other options.

I am not bosser myself but some do like it very much... but Telos is coming soon too and I heard something about skilling bosses in 2017? Don't see the need for a clan boss while there is so many updates we want for clans first. Ceecs - leader of Ceecs Clan

I would just like to point out that I hadn't really intended this for any time in the near future, there's 7 other potential regions to develop over the years.

As always I'm just excited to see how Jagex may intend to extend clan content beyond the realm of our little castles in the sky, and am happy to supply ideas;p

Jagex plan to rework clan systems so I truly think there is no need for them to spend a large quantity of time developing this idea. Nice thought but the area needs to be content for everyone not just people in clans.
