A lot of people don't join clans simply because they prefer solo and there's no real motivation or point that convinces them clans are worthwhile....Why not something clan exclusive that involves a boss?
So long as it doesn't apply to Comp requirements, or drop boss pets. Then it's a little to one-sided, if the boss dropped clan-related rewards, then it'd be fine. It just couldn't be applicable to things outside of a clan.

A boss that the clan builds!
Now THAT sounds like an interesting idea, it could be a hotspot that for example is required to be built in 10 or so stages, with different options for each, & then clans would have all sorts of different bosses.
I understand it's impossible etc etc but the idea does sound interesting, if we could sort out this citadel code.

Something ive noticed that counter argues most clan content suggestion is the "clan exclusive" aspect of it and saying it is unfair. It is something that people need to get over. With over 100,000 clans existing on runescape, and over 2,300 of them actively gaining xp tracked VIA runeclan, and people being able to create a clan in their own image with just four other people. There is no reason as to why any play could not find or create a clan that they enjoy.
If we do not offer benefit to clans other than a second rate xp at citadel, and avatars with buffs that are barely worth using, we get nothing.
Maybe people would support the idea of clans more, if clans had a bit more to offer
