Wish I could have a clan avatar and a familiar summoned at the same time.
I hear too often. Why can't we have a familiar/avatar hybrid.

The concept: use a familiar pouch on the clan avatar (when summoned). The clan avatar takes the attribute of the familiar pouch. The attribute lasts the same amount of time as the type of pouch. Also, the clan avatar could transform into a familiar/avatar hybrid, graphics depend on what pouch is used. The overlay essentially could be a Pak-Yak with a clan avatar skin with the circle buff around it. After time on the Pak-Yak pouch runs out, the clan avatar transforms back into its' normal self.


Thoughts? Would it be too overpowered? Would players use it?

No support on the addition.

I gave all of my Clanmates Admin+ ranks / Avatar Warden jobs because I feel that all of my Clanmates are equal Members in my Clan; it is only logical that they should all have equal rights and be able to summon their Clan's Avatars.

Jmods have stated before that it is impossible to give the job title of Avatar Warden to ranks lower then Admin due to the way Clan Citadels work. I agree, all clan members should have the option but sadly Jmods have stated in the past that it is not possible.

Suggesting that all ranks can have the Avatar Warden job title would accomplish nothing as it has been stated by Jmods that it is not possible. Suggesting a Avatar Warden Rank seemed to be the next best option.

Giving everyone in the clan

is not an option in the clan I am a part of; not everyone participates in the clan citadel and not everyone wants the responsibility. We give the Avatar Warden job title to those who are going to summon the clan avatar to help out the clan and not just themselves.

The way I figured, Jagex could've made the Avatar Warden into a Permission; not a job. Although, it sounds by the way you described this that Jagex is simply not planning to do anything about it. So I guess I made a good decision by making everyone Admin+ in my Clan without even knowing it.

Why can't everyone be an Admin+ in your Clan?

Clanmantes don't need to work in Citadel to summon Avatars; they only need to visit. It's actually a good thing if they visit Citadel only to summon Avatars because that way they help out with the Citadel visits.

Clanmates are the Clan; helping themselves is helping the Clan. By allowing your Clanmates to help themselves, you allow them to help others in your Clan. The way I figured, my Clanmates could learn to share some of the Clan's responsabilities getting involved as more than Names in a Members List. I already coordinated with some of my Administrators if I wanted to reserve time for using one of our Avatars, why not do the same with all Clanmates? Really, all you need to establish is a good off-game communication and a website/forum allows you to do that. If you don't have an off-site website, you could simply use the CC Website for the same purpose. After that, your Avatar Wardens simply need to tell others when they summon Avatars.

But again, I'm just saying that because I think that the Clan Chat sucks for Clans. The idea that some Members are more than others began to appear in my Clan after we switched to Clan Chats because Administrators have more rights in the Clan than Members which I think is completely unfair. This led to a new generation of Clanmates that were extremely disconnected from the Clan because they felt they couldn't do basic things all Clanmates should do like give their opinion asking for changes in the Clan, organize events, etc. Curing this disease is going to be hard, but giving all Clanmates equal rights is just the first step I'm taking.
