I suspect our average member age is higher than that of a lot of other clans, which means lots of members are able to travel (assuming they get permission from spouses and SO's...!)
But average is nonresistant, so how do things look when you remove yourself from the calculation? LOL I'M KIDDING ARCHAEOX don't ban me, that's MattHe's job.

, I was surprised too lol. I guess it's because the jmod thread feels lonely, save for the occasional raving about Hodor.
MattHe
, have you guys ever considered having RF in the summer? From a business standpoint, I think it'd be super powerful to consider doing, because:
- High school and college students are on break, and currently it seems Runescape's major social demographic is in their low 20's. The more social demographic is also the one that tends to be interested in RuneFest. It would also promote tourism in the UK area woo, maybe Jagex can even ask for a tax break from the British government, because airfare from the USA to England for just a weekend is mega expensive.
- Younger kids can come, too, albeit with their parents. You might think, "I don't want immature little twats at my RuneFest," but from a sociological standpoint, it'd be powerful for them to realize that the people they interact with through their computer screens are people in real life. I've heard that everyone at RuneFest is there to have a good time, and as such any online drama is put into perspective, and because interacting with people face to face is so much different than online.
I think the thinking for runefest is that people holiday a lot in the summer so its easier for staff to be there during school times when people dont have holidays plans, i guess this goes for families attending too. I personally would love a summer runefest hosted in Manchester but ah well lol.

, tradition might be an "excuse," but it doesn't seem like when during the year RuneFest is held, holds any significance. On the converse, fall festivals are traditionally held in the fall because these festivals celebrate how the tree leaves are pretty and the air turns crisp at this time, or American Thanksgiving is always held in November because of when the pilgrims had their feast with the Native Americans.

, since Runescape is so international and is meant to be fun, I feel like it'd be more fun during summer holidays
But I've also heard that Jagex has no problems selling RuneFest tickets--apparently they run out, and I know that someone had 2 other people help him buy tickets when they came out, since his internet connection in the jungle he was vacationing in wasn't secure.
RuneFest takes the best part of a year to organise so once we come out of running one we need to be starting on the next one - pulling the event into the summer is tricky on that level alone, let alone the difficulties of organising it around staff vacations.
It might be that we run one in the summer in the future but I think it highly unlikely this year.

Yea they could easily sell way more tickets depends if they think they have the staff to handle it though, also the main stage at the venue probably wouldnt support more people, its already packed in there for the main events so would probably need to be a new venue for more people.

for being our curators; my current impression of the CLF is a favorable one
Woooo! Clan leader asked me to help him set up a new Wiki for the Idle Adventures game. The Wiki isn't much yet but it's looking pretty good IMO. We do need some people to help build it though, so if anyone's interested I'll be tweetering out about it later.
I just recommend you have a Wikia account, otherwise edits will show your I.P. Address if you're not logged in (No way to change this
)

Woah that did not take long....The Idle Adventure's Reddit pinned a link to their sidebar in addition to making a post for it, and the official Twitter for Idle Adventures gave us a shoutout with a link to it....
