I suspect our average member age is higher than that of a lot of other clans, which means lots of members are able to travel (assuming they get permission from spouses and SO's...!)
But average is nonresistant, so how do things look when you remove yourself from the calculation? LOL I'M KIDDING ARCHAEOX don't ban me, that's MattHe's job.

, I was surprised too lol. I guess it's because the jmod thread feels lonely, save for the occasional raving about Hodor.
MattHe
, have you guys ever considered having RF in the summer? From a business standpoint, I think it'd be super powerful to consider doing, because:
- High school and college students are on break, and currently it seems Runescape's major social demographic is in their low 20's. The more social demographic is also the one that tends to be interested in RuneFest. It would also promote tourism in the UK area woo, maybe Jagex can even ask for a tax break from the British government, because airfare from the USA to England for just a weekend is mega expensive.
- Younger kids can come, too, albeit with their parents. You might think, "I don't want immature little twats at my RuneFest," but from a sociological standpoint, it'd be powerful for them to realize that the people they interact with through their computer screens are people in real life. I've heard that everyone at RuneFest is there to have a good time, and as such any online drama is put into perspective, and because interacting with people face to face is so much different than online.

Hi guys
I have a quick question. My apologies if this isn't the right place for it.
I have lead a clan for a while now (with a break in between) and have hosted a clan raffle for the most of that time. I have had no problems with it and it is even on my clan's forum thread in plain sight of all RuneScape Mods. Today I got a complaint from one of my clan members that the raffles I have been hosting (which is something almost everyone takes part in and enjoys) are against RuneScape's rules. I heard that there was a window for optional clan activities but haven't really looked into it. I just wanted to know if clan raffles are for sure against the rules or not.

they're not against the rules. The rule was made to combat the hot/cold flower games in the past. So while the rule is sort of contradicts clans own little raffles and games it's not aimed at them and there was a post by a Jmod which said the rule wasn't trying to hurt harmless clan games.

It's only against the rules if clanmates have to pay in order to participate in the raffle. I believe Mod Matthe has spoken about this and has essentially said the same thing I just said.

If "capping at the citadel" is what makes someone eligible to participate in a clan raffle, and how they would "buy in," would that still be against the rules?
Also, tfw you try to call someone out for being dirty minded, and it turns out you're the only one with your mind in the gutter.
Thanks guys. You do have to pay 100k per ticket. However if what you say is true, I could make capping be an entrance ticket and if people want more chance of winning, they can buy more. Would that work?
