Clan Permissions: What first?

Not sure if this is possible, but a clan member today had to lock the clan from guests as they kept following him to PK him. Is there a possibility of having a white list of guests who can bypass the lock?

I was about to post something about a white list, as a matter of fact, before I saw these. I'll be the 3rd supporter here!
A VIP guest list would be amazing, it's a hefty ask though and I feel would take a lot of time frm Engine to investigate and see if it's possible :( Mod Shauny - RuneScape Community Management - Goebies! - @JagexShauny

The good old clan chat in OSRS has almost everything my clans needed, so I guess:
- Friend rank
- Multiclanning
- Password protection (so if an account gets hacked they still can't access clan settings)
- Kick (without changing their rank) for a certain time (10 minutes - 24 hours)
- Which rank can speak

Perhaps you can track data about which functions are commonly used. I don't think we need a ton of ranks all being able to modify settings and having different permissions, as all those changes in settings don't take much time and could be done by a couple of people if it is properly communicated.

Option to mute isn't important in my opinion, as people who'd go so far they'd need to be muted simply qualify for a kick so they can cool off. Kicking just shouldn't take away someone's rank and a timer would be good to have.

For now your OP has hit the spot on what I'd like to see Shauny. The original clan permissions thread is worth a read. So far I haven't been enticed by the other suggestions and I feel definitely a control over who can kick/mute/ban would be great to start on.
