I wish that I could either change the order of the buffs and/or delete a particular buff without having to destroy the entire Avatar Habitat even if I was restricted to 1 change per week.
I agree. I would like to see us maybe instead be able to delete a buff one week, then the next week add a new buff. For smaller clans, this process would be faster and easier than having to rebuild new habitats. Also, with a two week turn around in changes I don't think it would be too OP.
If we'd make reworked avatar buffs available as enhanced avatar buffs, for clanmates with .. say.. fealty rank lvl 1+, we'll have both usefull avatar buffs and a capping incentive! Hitting two birds with one stone.

Like Pescao, I would like to be able to change the buffs we picked when we first built our avatars. At the time there was no experience base to consult to make wise decisions, so we are left with a couple of buffs that are never used. Destroying the entire habitat to make one or two buff adjustments is too much to ask. Because change is so impractical, none of us had the opportunity to try out different buffs to judge their utility.
The game itself has grown, and clannies are scattered around the home world now. The proximity boost is not as appealing and would benefit from being increased to encompass the world.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to add to this excellent thread.
- Buffed the strength of the Random Resurrection buff, so that it is competitive with the others.
- Improved Protector buff so that it offers the Warden a flat 10% damage reduction - to make it a competitive trade-off in comparison to other familiars.
- Nerfed the Heal-over time buff for players in-range slightly (2x to 1.5), and given Wardens only the 2x buff.

I think it would be cool if they got rid of the need to go to the citadel to summon it; maybe admins can summon using the vex or something along those lines, or try and implement it in the current familiar/pet system.

These are some great ideas but some of these avatar buffs need to be removed as they are completely redundant and even if they are reworked who will use them? majority of people will still use the skilling buff.
Now while I like those ideas but I'd rather have
Screts
fealty reward bonus idea instead where the fealty rank determines how much a clannie can benefit:
Original message details are unavailable.
3. Reward fealty with extra bonus
Reward the people who take part in the citadel and the upkeep of the avatar with an extra boost, so for example:
This may make the Healing buff overpowered but we can increase the timer it heals slightly or have it just heal 3-4% of their maximum health.
Also what is with the Avatar Warden favoritism? I get that the avatar warden sacrifices his familiar slot for avatar for the whole clan... i still don't see why they get more benefit... maybe if you want clannies to try hard for the warden title then sure...
Some of those abilities need to be killed off completely they are just useless and should be replaced with better newer buffs, those buffs that need to be replaced are:
Familiar Faces - Seems pointless to have this
Auto ort - Pointless yet again its not that hard to pick up orts also with the ort storage that makes this buff even more useless!
Skill plot bonus - Theres that clan cit booster... but honestly that deserves its own thread discussion.... bleh!
Protector - Sorry we have Heal over time which is far more useful
Those above buffs should then be replaced with buffs like these (not limited to these)
Boost stats: The avatar boosts everyone in the same world skill levels by around 3-6% rounded up to the nearest number (depending on their fealty ranks - Using Screts fealty idea)
Bank: Has a chance that it can bank items all clannies collect in the same world, has a chance of 3-6% per item.
Combat: Deals around 3-6% damage to the monster hostile towards the clannie every 5 sec (the % is equal to the players maximum lifepoints)
Wealth: (mentioned this last as this can cause some controversy...) Has a similar effect to the Ring of wealth, All clannies that benefit from this can have better chances of loot as if they had a ring of wealth.
Those are just some examples from the top of my head that should replace those 4 if you have better then feel free...
Also now this would make clan avatars overpowered... but those wardens that own a legendary pet should have the ability to give the avatar a BoB pouch to give it the same abilities as it (Thus making those wardens that have them feel like they are not sacrificing anything)
Also I think a clannie should have the option to pay more orts to have 2 avatar buff activated for them.
OK So, I think the easiest way for me to reply to this ConCrit is to first reject/break the ideas that were proposed as alternatives to the ones I've proposed.

This is a cool buff within itself, but it requires new development time. I am not particularly against it however the idea was to minimise development time by tweaking existing buffs rather than adding new buffs.
I cannot cite this information as it was not publically given, but the way boosts stack in RuneScape isn't quite as simple as this 'buff' would make out. The reason boosts like the Dominion marker and Overloads do not stack is because it is not technically feasible - and I imagine this would run into the same problem, as in: it might not be possible.

Would not work because it would require too much customisation. For example, what if I pick up some Sharks that I need to eat, but the Clan Avatar banks them instead?
There's a lot of times when I'm fighting monsters that I would want the Avatar to bank some stuff - but not all stuff. Furthermore, I do think this would not hit a fair balancing point; it would either become overpowered, or useless. We have Magic Notepaper and the Winter Storage scroll for this function.
And, once again, I think this would be extremely time consuming to code - because it's a completely new feature, whereas the goals of my rewritten buffs were to minimise development time.
