Some good ideas but id have to no support because of my belief avatars need to be changed completely into a new path than what we have with them currently, i mentioned before about removing buffs or at least limiting them to just the usefull ones, was in a thread made.

One idea was similar idea to Bresmine's but with the removal of most of the useless buffs this includes ort pick up one because i also changed how the ort system worked.

I feel like the only buff worth while is the skilling buff

Other buffs like the familiar one, or the pick up orts are not used mainly for one reason:

They all require you to be within range of the avatar. Like, I feel like having a avatar to double my familiar's time would be great for bossing and stuff. But the choice that we have to make of who has to sacrifice being able to bring a familiar for others to have this benefit is kind of unfair.

putting everything i say in pink so my post is noticed more than everyone else's

I feel like a major problem with the avatar is the proximity issue. I have never used a buff outside the xp skilling buff either.

This is something that the reworks I have proposed look to address. You'll notice that every one of them has only one proximity requirement, which is to be on the same world as the Avatar. Being close to the Avatar just intensifies the perk, as opposed to being a hard requirement for it.

To be honest, most clans only use avatar for skilling buff. It would be nice if we could use 2 buffs on an avatar at the same time...

And simply make it so that the buffs also work on the entire world rather then close range. As these double familair times/Healing/Resurection only work in close range.

As suggested they also need a rework specially auto-ort buff. Your suggestions might be nice, although don't think anyone will PvM with avatar cause when that person dies - the avatar returns to citadel and they are out of range

When the Citadel first came out, I made the mistake of using these buffs on our first Avatar:
1) Familiar Faces
2) Skilling Bonus
3) Protector
Then I made another mistake when we got our second Avatar because I added these:
1) Heal Over Time
2) Skilling Bonus
3) Skill Plot Bonus

If I could go back in time, I'd use on both perhaps swapping their order on different ones:
1) Skilling Bonus
2) Skill Plot Bonus
3) Heal Over Time
Because I'm not sure if you knew this, but...
If your Clan is Tier 1, you can only use buff #1.
If your Clan is Tier 2, you can only use buffs #1 and #2.
If your Clan is Tier 3 or higher, you can use all 3 buffs.

Now I have noticed that either Heal Over Time or Protector will be better depending on the scenario. But I also noticed that Familiar Faces and Auto Ort are completely pointless buffs to have.

And that said, I have no idea of how to destroy the Avatar Habitat. I've looked for that in many places and haven't been able to figure it out. Does anybody know?
