As everyone has mentioned this before due to the fact that it is completely invading clan members privacy.
will Jagex staff ever look into :
when clan members log into the site and look up their clan, view their worlds and that they are online even with the fact that they have their privacy off and left clan chat?
will this privacy issue ever be changed? for players to have their complete privacy?
like a toggle option to keep their privacy in the RuneScape website clan page overview on other players?
because it is effecting the community in a lot of ways and players that participate in PvP events use a clan, as a way to leak out worlds. not in the rightful purpose in joining a new clan community. i just feel as if its best for one another to remain civil and maintain their privacy in-game. just like the adventures log, and the new examine.
please if any jagex mod is reading this, it would be very much appreciated if i got a response back to clear this.
This isn't facebook -.-
Sorry but many clanleaders use this for bot checks.
This website feature should not be removed completely. However, making it unavailable to non-clanmates may not be a bad idea. Someone may argue that if it was done that way, though, then potential recruits could not see how many members are online.
As a clan leader I definitely hope they do not remove the feature that allows me to look at my members to see if they are on w/o their pm's on. Yes this is one big way we have busted clannies botting. If this is taken away we can't ensure our clan is bot free and we pride the fact that we are against botters. We do kick from our clan & report them and yes we do take measures to make sure it's not someone afking. We don't bother people if they are just taking a time out of the CC. I don't see a problem either with people from outside our clan looking at our forum clanmate list & seeing someone in it is online. Sometimes that helps us get new recruits as they find that person & ask to join.

I agree with this 100% as we also pride ourselves on now allowing bots to remain in our clan. Lately we have had to do a lot more hunting to make sure people are not just taking a break, but have also banned more bots. We are up to about 5 now.

I'll presume you meant 'NOT allowing bots to remain'. I'm Zyphix, the World Guardian, and I concur with these messages.
Clan:
Sorry, but not going to read thru 50 pages to see if this already discussed.
It is very important to have the ability to mute a particular rank (perhaps permission belonging to Coordinator rank and higher, or maybe key rank and higher) without muting all the ranks underneath it.
Current problem is we cannot mute someone in clan that is causing a problem (if we don't want to kick them). Let's say all your clanmembers are star ranks and 1 particular Captain is cussing up a storm, you demote him to Sergeant and mute all Sergeants. The problem is it mutes everyone below Sergeant. So if a guest joins the clan and wants to be invited, the guest can't talk while the mute is in effect.
