Perhaps one full time mod for clan develpment will be good, however I don't think that we have an influence on how they run their clan.

It's perfectly normal to only have one developer per project. In fact, it's how we work on the majority of our projects! Usually after you're done with a project it doesn't generally need anything beyond the occasional bug fix. There are exceptions though, and those generally have one dev who looks after them when they're not actively developing something else. Mod Maz

This is a shot in the dark question but can we expect this this year or next year? at least we have some idea and its not specific either.

This is true, but we aren't a project. We are a community with ongoing needs. There are developers designated specifically for other communities such as Old School, so why can't there be one full time specifically for clans? Like I said in my last post, you are amazing and we love and appreciate everything that you do for us, but we are only a small part of your job. Most of your attention is needed elsewhere and, as a result, important fixes and changes that are needed on our end always get put on hold (or before the appearance of you and Matthe, ignored completely).

I suppose I just don't understand, and that's not Jagex's fault. By the way, have any of the management fellows gotten back to Matthe about my last post yet?

Bresmine, I 100% support what you are saying. There seems to be a great deal of energy devoted to community, i wonder if some of that could be sectioned off to support clans, as truthfully a great piece of community is from clans. Most of my clan members rely on clan leaders to connect them to information on updates, podcasts, live streams, etc... A lot of clans are on twitter now as well. We as clan leaders are creating community, it would seem fair we were supported in doing that. The most beautiful things in life cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.

Either this, or just these projects be made to be "main projects" until completed. This entire set of updates have been needed since release of clans, the ball finally got rolling and no its been on hold for so long that i, and my clan have both given up on it ever happening. Once you stop the ball, it takes too long to get it rolling again and thats how it is with anything jagex does lately. I know it might not be a mainstream update like elf city or a new boss, but it still has an effect on a massive portion of the community, and id much rather have these updates than either of the others i just listed.
I am BatwingRobes, and BatwingRobez is me. BWRs is also me though ;)

I may be in the minority here, but while I'm as excited and ecstatic for the clan-related updates as the next member here, I have to admit that if any of the recent updates we've had or are getting were pushed back for this, I, and a lot of other players, clan members or not, would be very mad about it. This rune value change has been highly anticipated for months now, the Legacy update as well, Elf city for over a year now, and the list goes on.

If the cost for these anticipated updates is prolonging the clan permission's rewrite, I have to say I'm okay with that because I have no doubt that Maz and Matthe won't let it die - be put in stasis surel, but never die.
