Keep members engaged with chat and events and what not try and create strong friendship with a lot of members and try involve them into the clan so they feel a sense of responsibility for it.

Good luck, and if it slowly withers and dies oh well.

Definitely maintain a conversation :P

That means whenever someone says hi, you say hi back; whenever someone gets a drop or mentions an accomplishment, you congratulate them on it. That way it makes it meaningful for people to share their accomplishments, which is a reason to type in the clan chat, and as such, an inspiration for other people to type (and then talk) in the clan chat as well!

Recruit constantly, not like 100's of people but keep an eye out for people who might be a good fit into your clan. Try to get a mix of people as far as your clan identity will allow.

Taking on people who have rediscovered the game and sharing in their experiences, helping them see the new things in game, also reignites your own interest when you see it through their eyes. It also means the clan is more likely to be active, taking about " the good old days", whats changed, for the good or bad. Once a conversation starts, its easier to keep it going, getting people more connected to each other and the clan .

I've guested in many clan chats ( on my alt) and not even getting a response to my hellos is saddening indeed. Try to pay attention to the chat, as Vivy says, and acknowledge people when they do talk. Nothing like being ignored ( or un-noticed) to discourage someone from speaking again.

Best of luck , let us know how you get on !

I agree with Kera, you need to be recruiting constantly (examine people and check if they're clanless). Also if you want to be retaining members you just need to be honest when recruiting, many people say 'oh we're an all round clan I'm sure you'll love it' and then don't fit what the recruit wants.

Being up front about your clan may lose you some recruits that would've joined if you were ambiguous however retention is much higher with the latter, members staying for longer bring people together. And again CLEAR INNACTIVES.

Encourage people to join in voice comms but don't force it upon them, many people may actually love your clan but only talk once or twice a day for five minutes, people are different.

Community clans definitely aren't dead, you just need to find the right people and remain dedicated to progression.

This thread is super cute to me lol, from OP down to this post. I can't really add any more advice, I feel like everyone covered it pretty well...

Consider allowing the different game modes into your clan if you don't already. Ironman mode is flourishing, adding some diversity in that respect could give your clan the boost in members you're looking for.
"Why are you posting threads, asking questions and making discussion???"

You have to evolve with the game. Shape your community into what you want it to be from the start, relentless recruitment as well.

Not if you don't like how the game is evolving.

Do what you're best at and don't try to become a different clan. You can also open your clan to multiclanners and recruit some people from likeminded clans.

examine - even if you do and it says N/A that doesn't mean they aren't in a clan lots of players can disable this.. My clan is suffering the same but, the leaders and myself all refuse to give up its the last stop for us if for some reason my citadel falls and everyone leaves we will still remain.. Best of luck !
